The hole in my ceiling is much bigger than the actual width of this bar which is 2 inches. There are two different measurements for width in the description but neither apparently refers to the width of the bar. It's a shame I have to return because it's a very nice gold light bar.

These lights came quickly, were beautifully packaged, and were even nicer than I hoped. I mounted them above two dark gray bookcases and they look very expensive, but the price was great. I also purchased the Amazon GU10 6-light set of dimmable LED bulbs, which were perfect as well. Highly recommend this fixture and the Amazon LED bulbs.

Love the look of this light! We bought 4 for kitchen and hallway. Look and work great. One BIG problem is if you are installing over a previous light fixture, these are very narrow and most like will not cover the drywall cut out of the ceiling. Would recommend for new construction where the contractor can plan to put the appropriate size hole for mounting.

This track lighting is nice, not to hard to install and the antique gold color is gorgeous. One light kept failing and I exchanged it, easy process. But one light continues to fail, it turns on and off by itself. It's a nice product, but something in it's circuit keeps failing.
