This is not a wool hat. It feels like some kind of synthetic felt over cardboard. It has been absolutely saturated with chemicals to keep it from rotting. Just more false advertising from Chinese manufacturers.If you decide this hat will work for you, DO NOT try to steam it to fix the shape of the brim or add a crease. Mne came in with a crooked brim and fell apart in my hands when I tried to steam it.

I found the hat size runs a little large. It does come with spacers to take up the slack. In my case the front to back dimension was about right, but side to side was maybe 1/2 inch too wide. I used the spacers!. There are methods to stretch felt hats up to 1/2 size or to shrink them. These may also allow one to narrow or broaden the width of the hat. This hat has a satin lining and an internal band. I bought it for a special event but may use it more often.

Hat looks great, but it is very stiff. Good deal for price. I got it for occasional use, so it's great for me. If I were to wear something like this daily I'd probably buy it at a hat store.

A little bit bigger than I thought but it's ok fits front and back my problem is the space on the sides

This is a well-made hat very firm in rock solid material if you sit on it it won't even buckle I ordered a large my head was swimming in it I take a 7 1/8 way too large

It is a little tight but I am so happy with it. It is very well made!! It is the blackest of black too. You treat it good and it will stay that way!!

With quite a cheap pricepoint, I was not expecting the great quality that arrived. Shipping took a LONG time, but it was at least communicated prior to ordering. The hat is a very well made item and would not look out of place in any formal setting.

I've always wanted to have a real bowler hat. Of course this one is not a real bowler hat but it's so close to the real thing that I've decided to purchase it and also the price was much reasonnable. I had Nothing to loose and I'm quite satisfied with the result. It looks real

I liked the appearance of the hat when I first saw it and a friend has one too. I tried his on and had to have it. My only problem is my head is more oblong than round thus it doesn’t fit all that well however, I can live with it. I belong to a Masonic lodge and the hat just seems to fit with suits we wear to meetings. Overall, I’m quite pleased with the hat.
