Do not expect it to perform outside its price.
Fair product for the price, chuck is not as good as I had hoped, and can't see how to change it.As an introduction to wood turning it small piece turning its okay.

Will not last long
Initially it appeared to be exactly what was needed but soon the tailstock would not lock and now the headstock spindle is showing signs of failure..bearing slop..used between 26/12/19 and now so hardly any use really..not good enough!

It's ok but I can't find any spares for it.Looks like I will have to make them myself

Great little lathe for the money
Great little lathe. Had made replacement chess piece with an hour of unpacking it from the box. Good substantial metal base - would recommend fixing to workbench. Supplied tool adequate, but would suggest investing in a couple of good quality tools.

safe to use.
Have modified with a Mini Lathe Machine Double Bearing Live Center Revolving Centre DIY Parts Lathe Parts Accessories works smoother, drilled end of wood at head stock end to fit bit, much safer wood does not come loose, made rest longer, machine works well.

. I purchased mine to make float bodies. For which its very good.
Good value for the money.Would have lijed the instructions to be in English.
