Has worked well for 2 years. Now the auction cuo has turned into a sticky jelly. The phone just sags to the side and the unit comes away from the windscreen. Are there any devices that last?

There is a design fault with this phone holder.I have an iPhone X. It only grips on 2 sides of phone, there is no ‘ledge’ at the bottom so the phone slips down slowly until the rubber grips get to the 2 side buttons and presses them in. Unfortunately on the iPhone this triggers the phone to automatically call the emergency services and I was shocked to hear a voice say ‘what’s the emergency please’.I had to apologise and confirm there was no emergency. Very embarrassing. I had to take phone off holder and tape a piece of plastic card to the bottom of holder to stop the phone sliding down. Now it’s fine and stays where it should but you shouldn’t have to do this if the holder had been tested properly. Other than that the phone is easy to take off and on the holder.

Love this item. Took to Brazil last December and drove for 3 weeks around Brazil and not had a single problem. Bought one less than 20 days ago for my sister in-law and and the rubber suction came off completely while she was driving Home from wales 5 days ago, luckily it only cracked her phone screen protection. Now as I said never had an issue with mine (and I have an iPhone11pro), but this item must have come faulty somehow... how can I get a replacement? So very upsetting as it was a gift.

Love it. I bought one for my mum's car to use phone satnav on holiday. Easy to install and so far (3 months) it has remained firmly in place. I like the ease of putting the phone into the holder, just squeeze and release, piece of cake. The only minor niggle is that the bracket does move from the position you set it at after phone in and out a few times, you have to tighten the nut on occasions. That said, it was not a major issue. I have also just ordered another one for my car so that is recommendation enough.

My daughter bought this as she said her friend had one. I was surprised how well it stuck to a texured slightly curved surface. Even at full extension, it is still quite sturdy. Very easy to "snap" the phone in and holds it securely. Easy release. My daughter no negatives about this product.

I received it on Friday the 1/5/20. i used it for on Monday 4/5/20 an hour into my journey to work it fell of the window Not happy with it as its broke. I wud like my money back please

Left a nasty stain on my dashboard but apart from that I was quite happy with it

It is good but not fantastic. The main problem is that it is not easy to put the phone in as you need to push the phone to trigger the catch. It is also difficult to release.
