Update~ I have had this product for for over 8 months now and i would give it five stars. It is a wonderful useful product!
Great device for finding items in my huge house and in my car! Easy to use and no numbers to remember. The colored receivers stick tight to the items .The first time you lose your keys or mp3 or iPod or Kindle or tv remote control this will have already saved you stress, hours of searching, and money.for replacement. I just wish I'd had one years agoIThe problems people mentioned are not a big deal.1 If the item is too small for a sticker like my tiny mp3 player I just wrapped the receiver in tough thick scotch tape and then attach the other end to the tiny item with a short ribbon or shoestring.2 If you cant remember what color goes to what device, just label the pictures in the directions and always keep the directions and the main transmitter in the same drawer. (duh-- no brainer)3The batteries are very cheap and available on line. I haven't come to the changing battery problem yet, but if the stickers do wear out , double sided tape is available online and other places. Plus they send extra batteries. If you want to keep it on your eye glasses you could always attach the receiver to the kind of glasses chain that goes around around your neck,pros--stickers can be easily unstuck if you decide to move the receivers to a new device. They give you an extra set of batteries. The ringing is loud and goes through walls and cushions. Also they have a number for customer service and say they will make sure it works. This would be a great gift for anyone who is absentminded or who has kids who keep losing the remotes..Cons: I do wish they were smaller and that they had included more stickers and at least a hole in all the receivers (even the flat sticker ones) in case there is no surface to stick the receiver to. Ideally I'd like one very small designed just for eyeglasses that would fit behind the earpiece. But it is still well worth the higher price.UPDATE: Have had a problem with stick-on receivers coming off from Kindle and phone when they are jostled in purse. Ive tried super glue which works but not sure if i will be able to change stickon's battery very easily. The key chain ones are working well.Id change review to 4 stars at this pointUPDATE: I have found a better way to attach these to curved surfaces as on my remotes. I use stretchable colored, designer masking tape which can be molded or Gorilla tape for flat devices. This is much better than superglue because it can come off to change your batteries.. You must be careful to keep the light hole uncovered though! Also periodically check all devices for whether the battery needs replaced. None of my batteries have lasted much longer than a year.Another plus is that these brightly colored products with their colored tape make it easier to find which of your black remotes (whether for my Samsung TV, Directv or firestick or soundbar etc)) you need so the receivers are useful even when the items are not really "lost".but are all in a jumble on the couch!

Simple, Effective, a Lifesaver!
They work and I can find my stuff. I wanted something simple and these are simple. I attached the locator to a BIG stick and put bright colored duct tape on it. I wrote on the duct tape what color hoes to what item. I put them on my glasses (using velcro tape), two sets of car keys(no interference problems with keyless start), on my iPhone case (not the iPhone directly), my purse and on a little case that I can put misc items in that I lose all the time. I wish you could have more than one set and change the frequency like with ceiling fans; if you could, I'd have them on everything! I've found my keys in places I would never have found them - like at Walmart, in the trash (fell out of my pocket), in the garden...i put my phone in the fridge one day (not on purpose) and I could still hear the beep. The light is critical for finding items buried under papers on my desk or carted off by the kitten and batted under the couch. My husband thought they were ridiculous until he realized the drama, frustration and time they save. He still laughs everytime he hears me set one off.

The one on the phone is going crazy
*Update: As I could not get it to stop beeping after 2 hours (and it is LOUD - really can't be muffled) - I've crushed it to death. Obviously the better course of action would have been to locate the smalls screw driver and remove the battery, but, come on, a person who can't even locate their phone is certainly not going to be able to locate a small screw driver after a move. My son is rejoicing that the 2 hour beeping session is over. Save your comments about women in engineering, I have no regrets.I'm willing to update my rating if this can be fixed but, the primary reason I got this, besides locating my keys, was to locate my phone. I put it on the back of my Samsung and within 5 minutes it went CRAZY and hasn't stopped beeping. My 3 year old tried to console me "Mommy, it's OK; you're phone is broken, we'll just buy you another one" - because he knows I break my phone all the time. My husband had earlier tried placing another one on the phone with the same result, and we thought maybe it was just a one off issue. It seems to be beeping with increasing frequency or something too. I can't figure out how to turn it off, that's the worst part. I don't want to wholesale take out the battery. As I said, if this problem can be fully fixed I will update my rating, but right now there is something bleep bleeping in my ears reminding me of the malfunctioning nature of this product. The irony is we are electrical engineers. Our guess is some kind interference from the phone or something but, AGRH!

I keep buying them - what does that say?
I have used these devices for several years now. They are simple, low tech and easy to use. They have quality issues with the battery installation and battery retention. The design does not seem robust to me, but for some reason, they take quite a beating. Being on my keys and in my wallet is not an easy life for any piece of technology. The most impressive feature is the Click'N'Go customer service. I had issues early on several years ago, and they just kept replacing no questions asked. I prefer a supplier that stands behind their products.

Not as advertised
These key finder are OK but they don't live up to the hype in the ads. We tried out the "up to" 80 ft. range. With us in the living room and the key receiver in our sun room (App.35 ft.) we were able to connect with the transmitter but could barely hear the "up to" 90dB chime, as we moved farther away, app .45 ft. the transmitter was unable to connect with the receiver. These are ok for the use of finding items in the house as you move around and that's probably what they are made for. So its not a bad purchase as long as you don't expect to achieve the ad claims

A complete life/time saver
So I've had this for a while now and have stuck on all my wife's cars and even the back of her iPhone. My wife previously used to lose her car keys, house keys, phone ALL the time. We'd have to hunt high and low to find them and up finding them in some pretty obscure places - from in between the sofa seat cushions, in the washing basket or even the fridge...In my wife's defense she has a pretty stressful job and we have two adorable, yet very demanding, young children!Anyway, this product has seriously made my life so much easier. I have the receiver permenantly attached to my car keys (they never leave my pocket as the car is 100% keyless and keys just need to be on me).Now I simply stand in the middle of the house or wherever we are and press the required key to find whichever item is lost (ironically I have a good memory and memorised which colour related to each item). A few minutes later and voila! Keys/phone are found! Genius! The range seems to be pretty good and works well through our walls (we have a slightly older house with thicker more solid walls). In summary this is an absolutely amazing product. Is a must if you know or live with somebody that is prone to losing things (well anything that you can stick one of the trackers on). Would recommend.

"Found It"
The Click 'N Dig! Key Finder is a wonderful gadget. I bought one as a present and found I really didn't want to part with it.I was then sent one by Amazon for an honest review. Great News! The "finders" are all so colourful and can be attached to almost anything you can think of that gets lost in the home.It has been used to find keys (always get lost) remotes, spectacle case, "important" note book - you think of it, you can use thie Click 'N Dig! Key Finder.I couldn't recommend this highly enough.

The concept is really good and the system works well
The concept is really good and the system works well. The issues I have encountered are really down to poor product design. The battery life is moderate (obviously dependent on use), however the "finders" that attach to phones etc need to be removed from the device, the sticky backing removed before you can access the screw/battery compartment. The sticky backing is then rendered useless. A spare is included, but it really makes these redundant after only a couple of battery changes. I have tried other sticky backing materials, but tends to only last a short time. Either make these rechargeable or enable battery change from the top/side.Update: 26th June 2016. I have upgraded my recommendation due to the quality of the manufacturers (not amazon in this instance) customer service. They took note of comments with a promise to re-think some elements of design. They also offered a free replacement which was beyond what I expected.

Has put my mind at rest and will save hours.searching
I'm really pleased with this product. My friend had one for Christmas and was very pleased with it so I bought one for my elderly Dad who has started losing things mainly because he hides them. I went for the six receiver version which covered three sets of keys, wallet, change purse and hearing aid box. Although my Dad can't hear the beep without his hearing aid in (which might be a problem if the latter has gone missing) as long as I know I will be able to find things it has put my mind at rest and hopefully will save hours of searching in the future.I find the beep loud enough - I managed to find the wallet the other day even though the receiver was inside the wallet and the wallet was buried under a cushion. Also the first time I pressed the button I was in a different room but perceived the beep through the dividing glass doors. Strangely enough, since I bought this we haven't needed to use it apart from the last time but it is a relief to me that we have it and I wish I'd bought one years ago. It can take 2/3 tries before you completely locate the item but knowing it is in the room in the first place is great.I don't find the receivers too bulky; slimmer would be nice but they do fit in where I wanted them to.It would be good to have the option of another transmitter or possibility of a replacement if necessary - I've gone to lengths to make sure ours doesn't get hidden. Also it would be nice to be able to choose the make up of the kit, i.e. how many keys rings vs flat receivers, as I would have preferred an extra key ring in my kit.All in all a very worthwhile buy and recommended.

Worth its weight in gold
My husband bought me this as an antidote to my always 'misplacing' things. I was sceptical, as I had tried tracking devices in the past, with very poor results. This one, however, has proved invaluable. It operates on Radio frequency rather than Bluetooth, so does not need to be 'connected' to the missing device. The Locator has six different coloured buttons corresponding to the sensors that I have attached to my most precious possessions. In addition to the beep alarm, which I find difficult to hear due to quite profound deafness, the chosen sensor lights up, flashing to allow me to spot it.In a perfect world I would love to have an additional Locator to attach to my key ring, and one or two tiny sensors to attach to smaller items such as my Bluetooth earbud (Plantronics Edge)
