Great Little Camera
This was purchased for me as a gift. My dog has severe separation anxiety and was tearing up the house when I'd leave for work. The camera allowed me to keep an eye on him during the day and redirect him when I saw he was beginning to become overly anxious.Pros: It picks up the slightest sound, I can speak through my phone and it will come through the camera, I can move the camera around remotely, the night vision is very nice!Cons: There is a slight delay from real time to what is transmitted, the camera will occasionally blip offline, but comes back on quickly.

Many features, Easy installation
WEEK 1 REVIEW: So far I liked this camera but I had so much trouble connecting with the Oco app. Without the app, the camera is useless. After emailing back and forth with Oco support in one hour, they finally told me to use a different app (Ivideon app) which supported my phone version. After that no problems, the camera does exactly what is described in the product description. I bought this camera because of the backup features: SD card and Cloud services. I lose connection with my WiFi a lot but the camera have an option to connect to an ethernet cable if you don't want to use WiFi.I might get another Oco camera after my 6 months review. I recommend 👌this product which have a lot of features for less money.

Great
Set up was easy and it's easy to use once your used to the inverted view/controls.I would love to give it 5 stars. But the app only allows my boyfriends phone to use the microphone setting, it doesn't even pop up on my app. I would like to yell at my cats on the counter while I'm at work. Lol

Camera needs to be very close to a WiFi router
Camera is very slow to respond to pan and tilt commands..significant delay makes it almost impossible to use.. Also, camera needs to be very close to a WiFi router in order to function. Not really practical for most locations

This is a very good camera, and even more so at this price.
I ordered this camera directly from getoco.com before it was listed on Amazon which is why I'm not a "verified" purchaser. This little camera appears to have a Dahua IPC interface, which is industry standard. It's designed to work seamlessly with the Ivideon online servers, but it also works great with Ivideon client/server software on your computer. This is because it contains Ivideon software inside to seamlessly connect the camera to the your Ivideon account on the web.I've been running the camera for a couple of weeks both online, and on a Linux computer with Ivideon client/server software, and it's my most trouble-free camera (out of 8 cameras). The camera is super easy to set up, but must be set up over WiFi, not RJ45. After it's set up, you can connect the RJ45 port to a computer if you wish (but you may have 2 active ports on your router and in your Ivideon account, one for the WiFi and one for the RJ45 port, and that's OK). You may also connect the RJ45 port to an NVR (Network Video Recorder, either directly or through your router). The camera is sturdy and well built. I wish they had used glass on the camera's front window, but as long as you're careful not to damage the plastic, you'll have no problem. The camera has both motion detection and audio detection, either or both of which can be used to trigger recording events. I use both because I use the camera to monitor my parrot, and she sometimes just stands still and chats to herself, so the audio trigger catches it. The audio is good quality and very sensitive, so you need to adjust it to suit your own needs. Loud noises can be distorted (like a parrot screaming in front of it).The 960P (HD) picture is sharp and crisp. The PTZ allows the camera to be moved around and focused down on a particular subject.A couple of things to notice:(1) This camera has an RJ45 port, but it's not a POE-IP port. You'll still need the 5v power adapter (which comes with the camera).(2) The setup and configuration is done via WiFi only, not the RJ45 port, so you must do that first (it's easy: just follow the simple setup instructions). Afterwards, you must leave the WiFi connection active. If you choose to use the RJ45 port with Ivideon client/server software on your computer, you'll have 2 cameras in your online Ivideon account, one for the Wifi, and one for the RJ45 port (it's not a problem, though).(3) You cannot uninstall the WiFi connection from your Ivideon account or the lights on the camera will go back to blinking red, indicating that the camera is waiting to be connected to Ivideon servers.(4) The camera can be used right side up or upside down.(5) A mounting bracket comes in the kit in case you want to install it on the ceiling.(6) Ivideon offers a reasonably priced cloud service also.(7) I believe (although it's not stated) that the camera is ONVIF, so it should be compatible with many software packages and NVRs.(8) Software support is handled by Ivideon directly (a plus!).
