The is the first thing my granddaughters, age 4 and 7 asked for for Christmas. Their Dad is a bow hunter and they want to shoot bows and arrows like Daddy."My son tried one bow out from across the living room and was astonished the pull was so strong - he actually hit one of my antiques cruets; luckily the arrow had a rubber suction cup, so there was no damage!! The girls were a little "put out" that it was dark Christmas night by the time we opened presents and they could not go outside and shoot arrows. However they have been playing with this gift for two days now and having a blast.I don't know if I mounted the sights incorrectly, or what, however, my son said these are left-handed bows, and the girls are right handed. When I asked about that he said "no biggie," it will do them good to learn to do different things with the less dominant hand.The 4 year old was more excited about this gift (she was the first one to ask for a bow and arrow with a target) than she was her FurReal Puppy that walked and barked.

Box was not in good shape. Too close to Christmas for exchange. Found part of the site was broken.

This was a gift for my 6 year old son, and he loves it. Assembly was a breeze, and the bow feels really sturdy. The only complaints I have with the set was the laser and the arrows. The laser is totally off from where you aim. I tried to adjust it, but that didn't work. About the arrows, they bend very easy. Now we have 3 arrows with a slight curve in them. Overall, the set is fine and it keeps my son happy.

This was an amazing surprise to get in the mail today! This is the third bow and arrow we have tried to get my son. The others were flimsy and wouldn't shoot. This one is accurate and very durable! Be careful not to shoot at people or breakables! He is having so much fun with it, my husband had to get in on the action too. Highly recommend if you have a child who is wanting a bow and arrow.

This bow and arrow set arrived in a new amazon cardboard box. Opening up the package the Arrow set was in a beaten up box that looked taped back together. Ugh, I knew I wouldn't have time to return it and receive a new one back in time for Christmas. The downside of ordering online not being able to see the packaging. This was a huge disappointment as the black part on the arrow set was missing completely. It seemed to work without it and my 6 year old seemed fine without it. The arrows that came with it are all broken. Every single one, they broke at the bottom part where the yellow meets the blue, some arrows bent in half. This was a piece of junk, $30 thrown out the window.

The bow, arrows and target look just like the photos - very colorful and the kids at the birthday party immediately wanted to use it. The laser light worked fine, but should come with warnings. The target was okay (a decal on plastic disk), but warps if left in sunlight. The plastic arrows survived, but I think only because the string on the bow was so loose (like a limp noodle) that the arrows would not go more than 5 feet in distance. There was no way to tighten the string because the ends are encased in the plastic. So, interest in the bow and arrow quickly dissipated once everyone realized they had to be within a few feet of the target for the arrows to stick to it. It's funny because we were initially concerned about kids shooting other kids with the arrows - but with the loose string - that worry soon faded and a new "danger" appeared. We had a couple of kids shining the laser light around and it's a REAL laser light! We had expected an LED-type "laser" that wouldn't be dangerous to small children - but nope - real laser. So, that was removed quickly after one of the kids was caught aiming it other kid's faces.All in all - a disappointing experience and, possibly, dangerous product (those with the laser). Two stars only because we did get some use out of it for an hour or so, during a birthday party.

It was easy to set up, and so far has held up great. It's a great little archery toy set.

We got this for my son for his 5th birthday and he loves it! I like that it comes with a target. It's only been a few weeks so we'll see how long it lasts.
