Best nets for the price
Not as good as top end nets, but certainly not a bad net..I've used nets a long time and this one is the best for the price range.... I do wish all sellers would clarify radius verse circumference. Seems like alot get it wrong... This net is 8 ft to the center and 16 across with 3/8 mesh.

This works great. Even in deep water.
Love this net. Catch plenty of bait.

seems like a good quality product
Can't find anything wrong with the net, good size and seems a good build. It is certainly a better quality product than I am a thrower. Nice this about using a large net like this (8 foot rad) even if I don't throw it perfect, and it does not expand all the way, it's still a large circle.

The review I wish I'd Seen Before Buying...
I bought this net and was hopeful due to the great ratings this net had. Here are my concerns after buying mine...For the money, the quality is slightly underwhelming. It is a decent net, but the small-black line that hold the weights on the thicker main line (that makes up the circumference of the net) are flimsy and WILL come undone in some areas after some light use. I suppose this could be fixed by adding your own paracord around the circumference of the net and fastening them on both sides of the weights with zip-ties but I do not typically buy stuff just to improve them myself. The weights are some kind of plastic which actually is not a problem. the slightly lighter weight makes the net easier to manage than the full on lead weights. Not a big issue unless you absolutely LOVE lead weights. The net spreads fine as long as you throw it properly of course but you may want to condition the net before use by soaking in water with fabric softener for 12-24 hours. By doing this, the net will lose most of the rigid creases from packaging and allows the net to become more malleable. Be sure to rinse thoroughly and air dry (NOT IN THE SUN) before use.Overall, it is a fun net and I caught quite a bit of small brim with it just for practice. It works, but note that it is not all that sturdy and you may need to mend some of the netting and weight lines from time to time. If this concerns you, then just get a sturdier net. I understand that wear-and-tear is inevitable, however, I was not expecting to have to start mending it so soon.If you are new to cast-netting, then please do research on net care, what to look for in a net, and some DIY maintenance on cast nets before buying.LAST THING- IMPORTANT:For all new to cast-netting, review your state's laws regarding net size. Typically, stores in your state will not sell illegal size nets but here on Amazon they sell all kinds of sizes. Be sure the diameter of this or any net does not exceed your state's regulations.Hope this helps and good luck!

If you see him....
The hubs has ripped and torn apart quite a few of these cast nets so we decided to try out this brand. He is literally gone all day. .... he wakes up early on weekends and leaves to go fishing and doesnt come home until after dark. This cast net is just too strong and too durable. I wish it would rip or snag or something so he can would come home earlier. These kids are driving me crazy. If you see him fishing....please tell him to come home!

Good value
Great price and fast shipping. Good net for salt water where it might get ripped or snagged on oysters. Does the job but not destroying a $200 net if it gets on an oyster bar.

Maybe defective??
Second time in 4 years I’ve bought this cast net. First one was great so I bought it again. This one was really bad. Braille lines were wrong length or something idk for sure but yes I can throw a net. I like these smaller “disposable” nets for areas where there’s the potential to snag and tear the net catching bait.
