30 Feet Level 2 Primecom Electric Vehicle (EV) Charger (220/240V, 32Amp/40Amp) 32 and 40 Amp 6-50P. 10-50P & 14-50P (14-50P, 32 Amp)

Wanted something portable because of seasonal trips and a possible future move. We use it to charge up our Kia Niro EV several nights a week and it has performed flawlessly.

I bought this to quickly charge my new Honda Clarity PHEV. The unit and cord seems well-made and sturdy, and it works just fine. I use the HondaLink app to manage charging time and monitor progress, so I don’t need anything more than the light cues already provided on the unit. I cannot see paying another $200 or more for fancy readouts that I already have via the recently upgraded HondaLink app. Some have complained about the snug fit of the charging interface with the car, but mine is fine. After the first use, it’s quite hand in glove.Caveats:One caveat when shopping is that buyers should be aware that the cord length is measured from the plug, so always buy a longer cord than you think you need. I was accidentally sent a shorter cable than I ordered, and the company responded quickly to fix it. I had the right cable in two days, before I needed it.Second caveat is that the PrimeTechCom label is on the box and materials, but the name on the unit itself is ZenCar. That was confusing to me, and I wondered if I had received a different product than I ordered. The seller could clarify that better on the website and probably prevent a few returns.

I bought another level 2 charger before this one (no names) and it simply didn’t work!So I bought this one: before dispatch the vendor contacted me to tell me they’d sold out of the 32 amp version, but would I be interested in the 40A version. I was happy to upgrade.Delivery was several days earlier than exactly expected.I plugged it in & it worked perfectly straight away!It charges my 2014 BMW i3 RX fully in under 4 hours. I like the readout: there’s enough information without confusing things.

The 30' cord was important for our installation. Waterproof was important. Saw no need for the bells and whistles others advertise. Don't need to have a phone app as the car software does all the work. Price was OK. Plugged into a 14-50, 50 amp circuit.So after almost two months, we just plug it into the Kia Niro and it is charged the next morning. The plug works easily into the car, and since has been raining for the past 3 weeks, I can confirm it is waterproof. It was no more difficult than plugging in a toaster. Seems to be well constructed.

We purchased the charger July 4th 2021 and as of last week it no longer works. for nearly $500 the charger should last more then 11 months.

Easy to install. Great customer service both presale and after sale. My questions were answered promptly and effectively.They even shipped me a 40A charger because they were out of the 32A version for no additional cost.Can't wait to see how the unit holds up. It displays the charge rate and total power per charge.**** UPDATE 12/21/2020 ****Charger has worked flawlessly for a year now.**** UPDATE 6/7/2022 ****Charger continues to work with my Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid. I noticed a fault the other day for the first time, but it automatically rebooted and has worked fine since.

This charger works great and charges my 2020 Hyundai Ioniq Electric in a couple hours compared to 20 hours using the 110 plug in cord the dealer gives you. I like that it is a UNITED STATES SELLER with a 12-month warranty and life-time hassle-free technical support. Display is easy to see and understand. It works great and I would definitely recommend.

Couldn’t be happier. Only had it for a few months but it charges my Pacifica faster than expected and is allowing me to fully recharge during the day which is paying for itself in gas savings. Also glad I chose this charger since it was a little longer allowing me to charge in the driveway when needed.
