A great product that will help your cast iron last. I’ve got a couple of pans I will be stripping down and seasoning soon and can update my review after I’ve used this product for a seasoning from scratch but for now, it works great at maintaining a good seasoning and keeping my cast iron ready for each use.It comes with a cloth rag that can be reused each time you wipe your cast iron down. A little goes a long way so apply a small amount and spread over the whole pan.Happy this is a USA made product and veteran owned. Thank you all Veterans for your great service to our country.

I've been using this stick for the past few weeks, cycling through my cast iron pots and pans, adding ever-so-thin layers of beautiful non-stick patina in the process. 3-4 layers in, and I'm finding the pans much more stick resistant and easier to clean than ever before. I've always used coconut or avocado oil to decent enough effect, but have noticed much more even results using the combination of ingredients in the slick stick. It really seems to cling better to the pores, building a more uniform coat.My only minor complaint is the red rag that comes with the stick. While I appreciate their having included anything at all, this one leaves a bit too much lint in the iron, requiring a bit of extra cleanup.

Noticed the seasoning crumbling away in the middle of my pan after cooking a steak. Bare metal is showing, I can scrape seasoning off with my fingernail. Supposedly this happens when you season with flaxseed oil, I don't know if any of the other oils in this blend might be contributing to the problem.It's a competent product otherwise, but flax flakes off.

Used it for seasoning cast iron skillet and I loved it! Works great and did fantastic job reviving my favorite skillet!

This is an excellent product for seasoning cast-iron pans. We had an old old Wagner Ware pan that needed help. So I scrubbed it real good and even got out our palm sander and sand it down and then seasoned it with this and it came out awesome. I forgot to take pictures right after I did it - this is after a couple of uses but it still looks fantastic. I also did it on our Weber pan that came with our grill- fantastic and super easy!!

Had I known that once you get this it recommends 5-10 treatments to achieve what is desired I would not have spent the money. I started on one of my many cast iron products yesterday getting two layers done on one skillet and I won't be doing anymore.

After just one use, I rate it higher than the other well known stick seasoning - which I swore by until today.Very easy to use, doesn't smell as much as some other products and leaves an excellent finish.Definitely worth giving it a try.

so far has done a good job seasoning my cast iron skillet.
