Homax 4120 Acoustic Texture Touch Up Kit

My husband and I have been remodeling our house that we moved into and we were looking for a spray gun to spray gold glitter on the ceiling on our dining room ceiling so the chandelier we purchased would have the ceiling sparkle. After calling and calling, we could not find a spray gun without actually buying a new one around 75.00 and over. Well just using it one time we called to try to even just rent one. I thought well I KNOW Amazon has got to have something that will work. After searching for about 30 min.. I found this and showed my husband. He said he wasn't sure but we were going to try it. After purchasing this manual spray tube/gun and buying also the size of glitter I wanted to spray on the ceiling in the dining room ceiling, it came out just GEORGOUS!!!!!!!!!! It is beautiful and it worked great with the glitter I also bought from Amazon. I have had so many compliments and people asking who I hired to finish the room, I just tell them a little bit of imagination and purchases from Amazon!!!!!

Bought this product to repair a small section, looking to avoid running my compressor & professional texture gear. Very disappointed in that this kit was really useless, messy and too much trouble to return.

There is a variety of popcorn ceiling finishes and this would never be able to match my ceilings finish. The Styrofoam beads in the mix are too large to reproduce my ceilings finish. The beads jammed in the gun even with the opening set to “heavy” as the instructions stated.

Unlike the aerosol can products offered at home improvement stores, these gadgets are better for matching existing work. The aerosol can does not allow you the flexibility to measure the amount of acoustic you are applying. These allow you fine, medium, and heavy applications and you have the ability to apply without over spraying an area!

Good for small (hand size) patches, but does leak and makes a complete mess. I have yet to encounter a texture method that doesn't make a mess. Is reuseable.

Worked great. Had a 12x12 area to do and tried all kinds of other options. This one had nicely sized texture that matched what most builders use. The canned stuff shoots tiny little chunks, this one got it to match near perfect!

Only needed this to do some popcorn patching on my ceiling. Really looked horrible and the stuff hardly sticks. I'd be better off picking some boogers and mixing them with white paint. Save your money.
