I highly recommend this food dehydrator.Me and my girlfriend love it mainly for apples, bananas, strawberries, pears, mangos, and pineapple. Slice the fruit, add it to the trays, turn it on at 140 for approximately 10 hours and everything is pretty much spot on. It's big, but it runs quietly and if you put it a little out of the way you don't even realize it's running until the beeper goes off when it's done. For us it's perfect for making inexpensive and healthy snack food to have around the house, and to take on picnics. Makes change from scoffing unhealthy chocolate and crisps!

This is a really good entry model dehydrator.Took some getting used to the times and temperature butI've made some really lovely Apple crisps, banana chips, driedOrange slices and mango.I also made alot of dried orange and satsuma skin that driedBeautifully and I then blended to a powder to add to icing.Looking forward to making beef jerky.The dried fruit is great as no sugars inline those bought in the shops.

Buying this product was a waste of my money. Instructions that come with the product are EXTREMELY vague! And no matter what temperature or time I inputted, everything on the edges of the tray burnt and every in the center of the trays stayed hydrated. Total rubbish!!!

It was a amazing item Easy to use, perfect drying action,high recommend I mainly apple bananas strawberries pears all kinds of fruit take longer than I expected but very nice once You seat down and eat them and relax.

This Item was amazing! I follow a Keto diet and beef jerky is my go-to protein snack and it can be quite an expensive habit. Store-bought jerky tends to be very high in sodium as well. I love being able to make my own marinade for my jerky a healthier way.

Whoever wrote this instruction manual needs to go back to school. I just received mine and the operating instructions are a complete waste of time.There is nothing on drying fresh herbsFor fruit and vegetables, they give a Dry Standard, as flexible or fragile, crisp or tough, brittle and for preparation, silly nondescript that don't make sense. Steaming cooling goes to roots, for beets, cut open to translucent for Leguminous, go nuclear section (or whole).All of this is reminiscent of my time working in Japan and China, but regardless of what I may or may not assume, this is not how an instruction book should read, after all if I go nuclear it might just invalidate the warranty.So yes you can by a proper book on dehydrating and just set the timing and temperatures from that, but don't expect to take this out of its box and get going with any confidence or leaving it unattended for 8 to 36 hours dehydrating

Easy to use, perfect drying action.Fair amount of fruit fits. Need a bit of experimenting about timings for different kind of products.
