Very Small Book
Big print and not very much information. Not bad writing but maybe should be designated as a pamphlet. Not really even organized as a book. Seemed like just a magazine, newspaper, or online article.

Great Read
Great Book!! I can only imagine what Amanda was thinking all alone in a foreign country and the incompetence of the police force. She was a target from the get go!! Guess that is how they handle all their stuff in a foreign country there is the American white girl let's blame it on her!!

Unreliable
The book incorrectly says, the broken window is in Meredith's room, when in fact, it is in Filomena's room. Filomena's room is at the other end of the small cottage. The door to Filomena's room may have been closed or partially closed with the window in the far corner. Thus, Amanda and Meredith could have not seen the broken window when walking through, at least not coming from the entry direction, as the window would be behind them as they passed the door. While unlikely, a break-in was possible while Meredith slept, because Guede would wait after throwing the rock to see if lights went on and anyone came. Rudy's bloody footprints, which only exit the house and do not enter Filomena's bathroom, reveal Rudy used the toilet before he assaulted Meredith. Thus, Guede was already in the house and in Filomena's bathroom when Meredith came home. Filomena's bathroom is not visible from the hall. Meredith came down the hall at night, so, Filomena's room would have been dark. There is no outside lighting around the cottage.I wish I had my money back for this book. The book is small in size and short in length. The pages are not numbered. The author of this book believes there is no reliable evidence or significant motive against Amanda. I agree with the author's premise.Examples of other facts this book does not tell you:Other sources say, phone-records show, Meredith made an unsuccessful call to family at 9:00 PM. The call was likely made when Meredith walked alone the final 500-yards to the cottage by herself. Raffaele's computer had human interaction until 9:10 PM.Other sources say, At 10:30 PM, across the street from the cottage, Alessandra Formica and her boyfriend testified to bumping into a black man of Rudy's height, running with his head down and wearing a heavy jacket.Other sources say, phone-records show, Meredith's phone had two unsuccessful calls at 9:58 and 10 PM. Meredith's two phones were not smart-phones and I presume not password protected. The second call was to Meredith's bank in England. The call was unsuccessful for not using the international area code. The bank number is the first number on the phone's speed-dial under the title "Abbey". Was this call made by Rudy using the speed-dial list on the phone? The first call was to Meredith's answering service. The caller did not stay on the phone long enough to make the connection. Had Meredith been away from her phone in the house and was calling to see if her family had returned her earlier call? Or, was it Rudy speed dialing? It was a holiday and late at night. Were the bank and answering service closed? Did Meredith know they were closed?Meredith told her mother earlier in the day she needed to finish an essay. Did the police find a finished essay?Rudy went dancing at a bar after killing Meredith. From 10:30 PM, Rudy, allegedly, ran 5-minutes to his apartment; spent 10-minutes changing clothes; walked through a nearby door in the city wall, and some 10-minutes down a country road, and threw Meredith's cell-phones into someone's yard, missing the canyon in the dark. Rudy then walked 25-minutes to the bar; arriving at 11:20 PM. Don't know what time Rudy was first sighted at the bar. These details eliminate the unreliable witness, the tramp, heroin addict, who 3-months after the murder, after having been questioned prior, changed his story and said he saw Amanda & Raffaele meet Rudy near the cottage after 11:30 PM supposedly to then murder Meredith. This tramp admitted using heroin the night in question and became easily confused when questioned over common details. Details are important and this book does not have any of them.

This book leaves out key facts...Don’t bother with it.
I cannot even finish this book, thankfully it was included on Kindle Unlimited and I didn’t specifically buy it outright. The author omitted important information less than 30 pages into the story. For example, there was a list of people whom Amanda Knox called that morning but the author failed to mention that she also called her MOTHER even thought it wasn’t even 5:00 am yet back in the United States. That is a fact verified via phone records and the call should have been included in the author’s list for the sake of accuracy. The author also failed to properly explain how the *Postal Police*, who are actually in charge of “communications crimes,” randomly showed up to track down the owner of the two lost-and-found cell phones. Rafaele had actually called the *Carabinieri*, the department which handles serious crimes. This is a key fact because it explains how the police were not properly trained to handle this kind of crime and possibly began making mistakes from the get-go, such as unknowingly contaminating the crime scene and disrupting the evidence. Additionally, the author did not mention the huge controversy surrounding WHEN Rafaele called the Carabinieri....before or after the Postal Police showed up unannounced? And if they were so worried about the locked door, why did they not mention it immediately to the Postal Police upon arrival?I’m not saying she did or didn’t do it, but this book does not give all the facts to properly educate the reader. I refuse to even finish this book.
