The SENSE-ible Harness Gently Stops Dogs From Pulling. The SENSE-ible Harness is a front-leash attachment harness - very different from the "sled dog" style of most harnesses on the market. The leash attaches to a ring on the chest, so you can provide more accurate cues to your dog as to the direction that you want to go. It reduces pulling and often enables a smoother, more enjoyable walk for both dog and human. Quality hardware and construction Nylon curved side-release buckle and belt loops. Nickel-plated metal slide adjusters and welded o-rings. For best results, please measure your dog to ensure a proper fit. The Softouch Training method applies horse training concepts to teach dogs not to jump, lunge, forge or pull. It also assists with teaching commands such as: sit, down, wait, come, stand and heel. Dogs learn quickly with their SENSE of touch and natural instincts without stress or injuries. Available in blue, black or red. Measure your dog's girth using a tape measure. Measure around the body (the rib cage) behind the front legs. 17 - 21" Girth = X-Small (12 - 20 lbs), 21.5 - 24" Girth = Small (21 - 33 lbs), 24.5 - 28 " Girth = Medium (34 - 60 lbs), 27 - 33" Girth = Medium/Large in 3/4" Narrow or 1" Wide (40 - 75 lbs), 32.5 - 40" Girth = Large (70 - 130 lbs), 39 - 50" Girth = X-Large (131 - 200 lbs).

Worked Wonders for Us
This simple little device changed how we walked our 40 lb rescue lab mix. Our dog is a puller, and because we didn't want to try a choke chain, we went through different harnesses, techniques, etc. Nothing really had the impact that the Sense-ation does. When we go on walks, we clip his leash to both his collar and the harness for the added control. He responds well to this, and you can see that even with his collar on no pressure is being put on his neck. The harness itself is soft and comfortable; he doesn't even seem to notice or care that it's on. And although the pamphlet it comes with says not to get the harness wet, our dog has worn his in water several times and we haven't seen any real damage. It's a very well-made harness, especially for the relatively inexpensive price you're paying, and we expect it to last for awhile. With the harness on, walks are a thousand times easier and less frustrating than they've ever been. This harness works so that when the dog tries to push into the harness and pull you along, he is turned to the side. When we first began to use it, our dog would get noticeably frustrated as he tried to pull only to be directed towards our legs. It forces him to slow down. At this point, he's gotten used to it, and (along with training) he now calmly walks beside us instead of trying to sprint forward. My one gripe with this harness is sizing. We originally ordered a small because our little guy is skinny. Unfortunately, even though we stretched it out to it's maximum length, it was still just too snug. We ordered a medium and had the same problem: even when the harness was adjusted as small as it would go, it was a tad too large. We kept the medium because it is comfortable for him and still effective, but it doesn't fit quite like the guide/instructional video we reviewed showed. The problem isn't the sizing chart; if you follow their guidelines you'll get a good match most of the time. The problem is that our doggie is in between sizes and neither the small or medium harnesses adjusted enough either way.Another important note is that our dog is still a puller, it's just that the harness doesn't allow him to follow through on his effort. We work with him every walk so that one day he'll (hopefully) be trained to walk calmly and won't need the harness. In the meantime, this harness makes walks so much more enjoyable for us that we're happy to take him out for a long time. I'm so happy with this purchase, and I tell everyone about. Highly recommended.

Effective and Gentle!
The M/L 3/4" harness fits my 45lb puppy very well, and I think it'll have enough room to fit him when he grows to 60lbs. It's very easy to use and my puppy pulls noticeably less when he wears it. I feel like he doesn't even notice or care that it's on, and it really helps during our training sessions for loose-leash walking and passing strangers/other dogs politely. Great product! I also know a huge lab-mix whose pulling was way worse than my dog's, and her leash-walking has improved a lot with this harness. Choke and pinch collars just teach a dog that pulling will hurt, but may still get them to where they're going. They can also do serious damage to a dog's throat. This harness teaches the dog that pulling can't get them where they want to go because it pulls them off to one side.

Don't use a regular harness- USE THIS!
It stops pulling and is much more gentle on the dog's body. It turns them around when they pull instead of teaching them that if they pull harder we go faster. Their whole lives as dogs they've been learning that they can go faster if they pull, but this teaches them that walks with you are different- they'll just spin around and not go where they want to go. Teach them that if they want to go forward they must go at your pace. Love this! Stopped my husky from dragging me around town.

best front-hook harness out there.
Still my favorite "front-connection" harness. Fits better than the Easy Walk, and comes in sizes appropriate for deep-chested sighthounds, broad-chested bully breeds, and everything in between. No training tool will replace the "education" side of training, but it's nice to have a "novel pressure" to restart a dog who has always hung themselves on the leash. Sometimes a new feeling helps get them to notice the leash tension. The SENSE-ation is great for dogs with little fur on their bellies, but the SENSE-ible harness is the same thing without the soft belly strap upgrade - works just as well. My only complaint is that they still don't offer pink for the big dogs.

Walks are much more pleasant!
I got mine for my 50 pounds australian shepherd mix. He is now about 6 years old and has pulled on his leash since he was a puppy. I have tried various training solutions and choke collars before I finally got one of these to see if it would work. The results are really great. He still pulls, but it is much more manageable. It doesn't seem to be unpleasant for him like a choke collar (which he would pull against anyway), it just seems that he notices that there is resistance better and doesn't keep straining against it. Walks are now much, much more pleasant. Great product.

Easy to fit & stays in place
I ordered this harness because I just couldn't get the easy walk harness to fit my pitbull properly. during walks, it always slid into his armpits or sagged in the front, causing chafing and irritation. i was able to fit the senseation harness pretty quickly following their directions and it actually stays in place while walking! all his redness and irritation caused by the other harness is disappearing and he's no longer chafed by the chest strap.

I bought two of these. One for a puppy ...
I bought two of these. One for a puppy to grow in to, and one for my grown dog. I excitedly opened one and tried it on my grown dog, and it fit well and works well. I waited a while before opening the other since the puppy will be quite some time before she's able to fit into it. When I opened it for my son to borrow for his dog, the harness was GIANT - maybe bull mastiff sized. I have Standard Poodles. I ordered the same size. Of course, I went to return it, but I was about 15 days past my allotted time. So, it works well if you actually get the size you ask for.

We now can enjoy walks
Best purchase ever. For 2 highly active springers this has been a life changer. They no longer pull!
