Amazon Basics Cat and Dog Bed, Machine Washable Pet Bed, Extra Small (59 x 46 x 6cm), Grey Swirl

I originally ordered two of these for my new puppies, Malinois X Dutch Herder. They are absolutely perfect. The soft swirly fleece covering appears to provide comfort to the pups and they both nuzzle it a lot and roll around before settling down to a nice long sleep. I have to say it is sooooo soft! Like who wouldn’t want to snuggle up on something so luxuriously soft! Honestly I was amazed at the softness. For the price I thought it would be a cheap and cheerful fleece that felt like it’s okay for a dog bed but not for humans… I disagree! I have warmed my toes many times while watching tv! 🤣My older Dog, a Rhodesian Ridgeback has a super thick memory foam bed to provide comfort in his old age but he has insisted on stealing one of the pups beds! 🤷🏻‍♀️So the third purchase is for a spoilt big pup. The beds are fairly squishy and perfect for little pups. It’s not ideal for my Ridgeback but he has insisted it is, his huge memory foam bed has become a trampoline for the little ones!I have washed two of the beds and they have come up okay. The cover has come up lovely and clean and retained its swirly soft feel. Ideally a little more stuffing would be appreciated as hollow fibre does flatten somewhat over time. For the money, they’re great but will probably be replaced for more expensive memory foam beds when the pups are fully grown, I doubt the filler will remain as puffed up after a few more washes.The bottom of the bed is a hard wearing black material which appears it may be waterproof. Ideal if the dogs have an mishaps as it will protect your flooring. I’m not sure I can comment on its chew proof capabilities as my pups haven’t tried. In my opinion as a seasoned dog owner is that it wouldn’t last five minutes with a dog that is inclined to chew his bed. I had a King Shepherd previously and he would have destroyed it in minutes. Nothing less than army canvas was safe!!I have not given it five stars as for an extra £1 they could have a zip, this would allow you to refill the inside with an old duvet when the original fillings is too flat. I appreciate I can unpick and sew it back up myself if necessary but I’d rather pay an extra £1 and have the ease of a zip. I imagine most people won’t want to faff around sewing and ultimately these beds will end up in landfill. Come on Amazon…….

Really pleased with these at just under £10 at time of purchase. Quite thick and very soft. Feel well made. Cat was on it within 5 minutes of putting it down. Cosy and warm to the touch and despite having the face of a cat about to be accosted with flea drops, she approves.

Great dog bed, have repurchased as it lasts the longest with my dog, only downfall is lack of a lot of stuffing

Bought the £11 one...its amazing quality for the price. Got Puppy mess on it, washed lovely then hung it over the radiator (personally I wouldnt tumble dry it as it has a plasticky type bottom). I returned a bed at a similar price and it was tiny and poor quality compared to this. Would recommend for a crate and easy to move into the living room/sofa. Pleased with this purchase. Might get a second one to rotate with wash days. lovely and soft.

My dogs every now and again enjoy nothing more than ripping up there bed.This was on special for £14 and it's great, very deep filled and in a nice grey that matches our kitchen where they sleep at night. I'd say twice as thick as others I've purchased on Amazon.It also has a nonslip bottom.I even bought a spare in preparation, but so far so good.It's well packed in a box, just folded in half. The others I've had all came vacuum packed and this just ruins the filling so this is another plus with this bed.My go to one now and more importantly the dog loves it and sleeps like a baby.

Puppy loves it but sadly it's the wrong kind of love. He humped it from day 1 and so we haven't been able to really use this bed and it has been confiscated from him. He's not done this with anything else, so not sure what is inside or what it is that made a 10 week old puppy go crazy! But it does appear comfy and good value for money if it can be used.

I bought the extra small size to add warmth and comfort to the new outdoor cat house. The bed feels very comfortable to the touch, it has the right amount of padding to make it comfortable and yet be flexible enough for the edges to wrap around the walls creating a dream home to an outdoor cat. She seems to be delighted and sometimes bury her face into the bed! This cat used to always look tired and sad, but being able to get warmth and rest transformed her demeanour. I think she can't quite believe how lucky she is now. I'm so happy for her! The bed is brilliant!

These are pretty good dog mats/beds, I needed a different design/fabric from the 'donut' style ones that our puppy would NOT STOP shredding.So far, so good, she hasn't tried ripping these up. They seem quite robust and wash well too - but my only niggle is that the fur 'swirl' pattern will completely flatten out after machine washing/drying - even on low heat as suggested on the care label. The picture shows the difference; new unwashed bed above v.s. washed/dried bed below...Aside from that, it is holding up well, and still in one piece.

Wir haben diese Decke für unseren damaligen Welpen (Golden Retriever) etwas überdimensioniert gekauft. Mittlerweile ist sie schon reingewachsen ;). Als am Anfang noch das eine oder andere Missgeschick passiert ist, wurde das Bett einfach in die Waschmaschine verfrachtet und kam wieder so raus wie gekauft. DAS war für uns echt ein Mehrwert. Davon abgesehen, liebt unsere Hündin die Deck. Sie ist von der Dicke her wie am ersten Tag und wirklich schön weich. Der einzige Kritikpunkt: unser Katze weiß nicht, dass es sich um ein Hundebett handelt und macht es sich darauf auch immer gemütlich. Aber: von beiden Produkttestern Pfote hoch und 5 Sterne.

J'ai acheté un premier coussin il y a 15 jours et là, je vais en acheter un second pour pouvoir faire une rotation quand je dois le laver.Car oui, il se lave très bien et très facilement. J'ai une machine de 6kg de capacité et le tapis 1,16 mètre rentre sans problème. J'ai d'abord testé avec un essorage à 400t/min comme recommandé dans un autre commentaire mais il restait "trop d'eau" à mon goût. J'ai donc testé à 1400t/min ... et c'est nickel.Il entre aussi dans mon séchoir et j'utilise le programme délicat. Il faut le sécher en deux fois car un peu d'humidité reste dedans après le premier cycle (même avec une sonde électronique). Je laisse donc reposer 1-2h pour laisser l'humidité se répartir et je refais tourner une fois. Petite note, je n'ai pas de poils du tapis dans le filtre, ce qui m'indique que ces poils tiennent très bien.Comme j'ai un jeune chiot qui a encore des accidents et des chats qui râlent de la présence du chiot en allant marquer son cousin ... je l'ai déjà lavé et séché 5 fois.Du point de vue de la solidité, quand mon chiot (10kg) a du mal à se poser pour se reposer car elle est trop excitée, elle refait la déco de sa grande cage pendant 10 minutes pour se défouler ... et le coussin résiste très bien, pas le moindre accro, pas non plus de touffes de poils qui se détachent. Il ne bouge pas.Quand au confort, c'est hier que j'en ai pris conscience. J'avais dû laver le coussin dans la journée, le chien ne l'avait donc pas dans sa cage. Il lui a été vraiment difficile de se poser pour prendre du repos. Donc en fin de journée c'était un peu l'enfer ... jusqu'à ce que je remette, enfin, son coussin dans la cage. Elle y est allée directement, s'est posée et s'est endormie en moins de 5 min. C'est donc pour ça que j'en achète un deuxième.Je recommande vraiment, c'est un rapport qualité-prix tout à fait intéressant.[Edit 30 janvier 2022]J'ai acheté le premier coussin, il y a 5 mois maintenant, mon chien approche des 30 kg et elle le malmène toujours autant. Des fois, elle le secoue comme une proie en étant couchée sur une partie. D'autres fois, elle le déplace là où elle veut se poser et le tire même s'il se coince. Et le cousin n'a toujours aucun accros, rien. Il ne perd toujours pas ses poils non plus alors qu'il est lavé tous les 15 jours au minimum.Bref, je ne regrette rien et je l'ai même recommandé à une amie.

We recently lost her “big” brothers to Cancer & Pulmonary Dystrophy very very close together and it’s been horrible for us all but Ela is the youngest and she’s NEVER slept alone. She was crying all night, every night so I thought her blankets smelled like the boys so I cleaned everything and I mean SCRUBBED, WASHED, VACUUMED and I even bought a new bed like the old one. Nothing worked. I was going crazy!Then, one day I’m surfing Amazon Heaven and 💥 💥 BOOM 💥 💥 THE angels smacked me so hard......THE BED!!! Not the smell!! Not it being NEW.....THE SIZE!!! She’s 2.5 lbs which is hard to tell in that photo because she JUST HAD A BATH AND IS SUPER FLUFFY and wrapped in her fave blankey, BUT......underneath is HER NEW SMALL BED!!That was her first night in it and she slept through the night!! Not a whimper!! (It was HORRIBLE because she’d cry and then I’d cry, for hours.....still do) but she’s so happy in “her” bed with HER blankey and it’s small so she doesn’t “feel” alone I think.She does love it and she digs under her blankey until she’s on the actual bed where, before, she had to have a blanket under and over her so clearly she loves the bed feeling itself.I was quite surprised at how High End looking and feeling it is. It actually looks like my Persian Lamb Coat that was my Grandmothers and it’s amazingly beautiful but that’s what it reminds me of, the tight super soft curls.Truly amazing.I know, not a normal “great bed” review but I really believe it played a part in her healing, and mine not to mention my sanity which I was losing from not having sleep.It’s now a corner with her water and her bed and blankey, and it’s Elsa’s and she’s happy again, as am I.It’s a lovely high quality bed and I just run the vacuum on it and to kill the dander mites that we all have, it goes out in the sun for the day. Hold a day on each side. Martha Stewart taught me that one with Duvets so it must work for a wee faux Lamb bed! ♥️♥️♥️

Better than I expected, looks and feels nice ,dogs really enjoy it.
