This is a really good beginner rod for its robustness and flexibility. I caught today a nice few fish (like 2lb perch and roach some smaller ones too and a nice size pike which did come off due to the cheap lure I used) changing between float and lure fishing, honestly going to get another one next payday this time the larger one for the carp fishing and maybe bigger pike or salmon if I decide to go down that route with my fishing journeyAll in all great rod reliable and durable make sure you get a reel with similar quality for a better fishing experience :)

Since I bought it I have used it many times for rock fishing and beach fishing with low tide..Very light. It seems very delicated and gives you the impression that it won't last for long but it is strong and very sensitive when it comes to feel the fish. I use a 15 lb momofilament and max 3 Oz sinker. Also I can take it with me anywhere I go. I fully recommend it.

I'm used to buying higher end rods, but needed something quickly for a last minute holiday.I bought the MH, 8ft 7-28g casting weight spin version. It has a crisp, fast action and makes it easy to work lures.It's light coupled with a 2000 size reel. It packs down well enough to go into a suitcase.I would recommend it as good value for money and you don't need to worry too much if it gets knocked around at that price.

It could benefit from a thinner blank and it definitely definitely needs another ring fitting to it to give more parabolic curve on the line on retrieve under load.

Taken to lots of countries and caught many many a fish. A sturdy rod great for travel

Total junk! Tip broke on my first fish! First one!?!!The tip broke while getting the first fish (sea bass 40cm) into the net( fish still in the water) .So ,just another Chinese garbage!Now I'm trying to get hold of another, replacement tip at least, but nowhere to find..money out the window..don't trust the Chinese..the don't/ can't make proper stuff..buy yourself anything else don't throw money out the window like i did with that rod..!

This is a fantastic rod, great size to take away on your travels.

The rod itself seems fine and performs well for spinning and light lure angling. I think it's good value.
