Sheaffer100 White Lacquer Fountain Pen with Chrome Trim and Medium Nib

I did not receive a working pen. There was no fountain pen portion of pen and no nib. I also did not receive the piston convertor. I have been eagerly waiting to recieve this order and am highly disappointed at what came. The pen would be beautiful if it was indeed a working fountain pen.

This is a very nice pen. Solid in the hand. The quality far exceeds the price. If you're looking at it already, just buy it.The only downside is the ink runs extremely fast. Don't worry about this thing ever drying out. There's always a visible drop of ink on the tip no matter what you do, which is normally a good thing, but on cheap paper you're going to get a lot of bleeding. I'd still say that's the fault of the paper, and can't fault the pen

Very attractive item at a reasonable price

I love this pen. Several reviews said that it came with a converter, but I didn't receive one. I will inquire about that, but the description doesn't mention one. I thought, though, that Sheaffer included one with this model.

Though the pen looked good and was well balanced, it wrote only a few lines and then suddenly stopped writing! How it could write easily and then suddenly stop - despite several attempts - I do not understand.

I will never use another pen !

Pen had a slight nick in the ink channel and the head was off center by about a millimeter. Still writes decently, and ink flows well. For the price point, I bought a Sheaffer Prelude for a little more that I found to be a much better pen.

The sheffer fountain pen are fantastic you can leave it in your trousers and not use it for several days . But when you go to use it it start writing straight away the ink flows

A good pen nice to write with.

Great quality, much better than Parker Jogger, which used to be my favourite pen but has gone down in quality. I think I will stick with this 100 series from now on.

Lovely Pen to write with excellent Quality

It's ok. A smooth writer and has a good grip which doesn't make the fingers ache with long spells of writing.

The item arrived for the second time with tape round the decorative box which when removed damaged the case and box which is no good as a gift.

This pen is fantastic, especially at this price point. Looks and feels very high quality.It doesn't have alot of weight, but is well balanced and comfortable to write with.It writes very nicely, I got the medium nib, which is great for everyday writing.One tip I would give, is to forget about the included ink cartridges and just go straight to the converter with a good quality ink. I tried using the blue ink cartridge when I first got the pen, and there was quite a bit of feathering and some bleed. It seemed like the ink was very runny, and too much was going onto the page. So I flushed it and changed to the converter, with my own ink, it now writes perfectly with no feathering.Over 15 years ago, I bought a Sheaffer ballpoint pen which I have been using daily for all these years, and it still looks and works like new. This new fountain pen is great quality and I'm sure it will serve me just as well!

Refill is abysmally bad. Purchased one refill . Again quality is very very poor.This is only product purchased from Amazon which is not up to mark. Even roller pen costing Rs . 20 is better than this. Although it has a aesthetic value but it has no use value. Don't buy it.
