HTC Dot View II Case for HTC One M9 - Retail Packaging - Black

A few weeks into using this case, and it is holding up well. The clear back scratches pretty easily, but at least it protects the phone. Other reviewers noted that the cover ripped off easily, mine seems pretty firmly attached. I routinely bend it back 180 degrees to play games, and it seems to be no worse for the wear. Not sure how they managed to break it. Being able to answer and make calls with the case closed is great, and the swipes through the case work perfectly. Can't say anything bad about it.

For what it is.. this is a great deal .. if u only deal with the phone when u have too.. this is perfect .. just got mine so let's see how things go.. but I am very very excited about this case .. try it out ..UPDATE::: Ok so ir hasnt even been a month, and my case is starting to split from the hinge.. this is from regular use.. when you are typing or using the phone.. u have to fold the cover back.. so this puts wear and tare on the folding part. I do love this case.. but this is a big flaw.. it needs to be a little more durable .. still I got another one coming and will see if different use will stretch the lifeline on this thing..

This is a great case to still be interactive with your phone. Able to play games with the case shut. There are 2 downfalls that I have, but are definitely not deal breakers. 1. I ordered black, it's not true to color, it's more of a dark grey. 2. The clear back gets scratched VERY easily. But I do love the clear back because the HTC One M9 is such a beautiful phone. I bought this one for my husband and I can't wait to purchase one for myself.

This is one cool first party case - it is made by HTC.Very fun to use and it does provide full protection around when covered the glass. Obviously, I put the tempered glass from amFilme / TechMatte for extra protection on it - love that tempered glass.With the tempered glass on top of it, the cover initially cannot fully close, after several days of usage, it now can fully close.Strongly recommend this - do need to be aware if you have car mount to use this as GPS for navigation, the Dot View case will have some issue to mount and stay on the car mount.Richard C.

Well it's got a cool transparent back. So the silver/gold shines through. But the ugly imei/info sticker shows as well. Time will tell if I see any advantage to this over my Otterbox or other dot view cases. I wonder if armor all or similar products might extend the life of the hinge strip? I'll try it. *update* 9 July: I know there are products out there that can make vinyl more supple. So I removed my phone and have coated the hinge area with corrosion-x. I'll update again in a few weeks with a report. By the way all my other after market dot view cases rip in exactly the same way after a few months so it's not just this HTC case. They all do it. It's the vinyl hinge they all use.*update 2* Aug 3. The hinge started to separate from the clear plastic back. A little super glue fixed that. Then I tried cleaning the micro usb and ear bud ports on the phone with electrical contact cleaner. Got a little on the clear plastic back and that fogged it up bad and cracked the plastic. So it's now in the trash. At <$5 I'm tempted to order a couple more as I really like the looks of it with my phone. Using a regular dot view case now.

This HTC Case it's very nice and interesting... But just for the first 2 months.I didn't fully believed on reviews that talked about plastic quality. I thought that if you were careful Dot View would last just fine.Unfortunately, even I being totally careful, it tore on second month.Shame on you HTC! M9 device is wonderful, but this case is made of poor material and it wasn't projected to be frequently used.

cool case... love the dot view on the htc one m9.. however be careful with your m9.. almost to the day that i paid off my m9, htc pushed an update to my phone that sent it into a permanent boot loop. the timing is so suspicious that i think HTC bricked my phone on purpose to make me buy a new phone.. customer service is useless at HTC.. TMOBILE did not help (nor could they as its an htc problem).. cool case but i will never buy an HTC device ever again. EVER!

Great unique case! I cannot disable the app and it is always running in the background so i thought i would give it a chance. I just recently received the case from Amazon and so far it is great. The aluminum scratches easily and this case will keep it like new. The case does not interfere with the sound from the speakers and i took the screen protector off since the flap will protect it. Alot of themes from Htc to customize

Aunque ya no están de moda las fundas tipo flip cover, en su tiempo lucía muy bien, tiene un acabado de goma anti derrapante muy padre, y la tecnología dot view de htc simplemente original y funcional. Recomendado al 100%

Muy padre el producto me gusta mucho la utilidad que tiene solo que es un poco incomodo a la hora de manejar el dispositivo con la tapa abierta y con el uso va perdiendo la resistencia el plastico y queda media abierta en algunas ocaciones si no se tiene boca arriba
