I got this to check the cartridge was in the right place on a vintage turn table that I bought and fitted a new stylus to, I checked it and found the cartridge was perfect so I did not need to set it up , good to have this device though as I have a few old turntables and it will be needed when I put them into use. the scale is easy to read so setting up should be a piece of cake.....mmmmmmmm someone say CAKE !!!!!

Because of the smooth surface of the protractor, there is no risk of catching or snagging the stylus.It arrived very well packaged, in a padded envelope, and in perfect condition.

The mirror finish can make it hard to see with a light source, especially if like me you wear varifocals glasses. I would have gone for the same make but with a non mirror finish if I had known about this problem. I did think it would have made it easer but for me it didn't. Other than that it's well made.
