German Engineering Excellency, Great Value Pack
Do not buy knockoffs. Also, be careful you don't get knockoffs here on Amazon. There has been an issue with knockoffs flooding Amazon Warehouses so be aware that you may unintentionally become a victim so check your packaging and product.Back to the product, it's an investment that has served me well. I used it to change some pipes as my older pipe wrench was already out the door. Easily removed and screwed on pipes. No issues whatsoever and was even better than the older pipe wrench I had. Extremely versatile. These pliers have such a great grip that nothing will move. Send the extra money for German quality tools. The R&D on these products is amazing and you'll never be disappointed.

Best slip wrenches ever!
I've worked electrical, HVAC, welding, plumbing and construction. I am in factory maintenance and learned of Knipex in Welding trade school, a guy was using their mini bolt cutters for TIG rods. I bought cheap Amazon made in China junk for $10, he said he paid $40 for his minis, and I realized they were worth it.Then I got out of 2 trade schools and started HVAC, my boss was a plumber/maintenance/HVAC business owner, and he said he'd replaced pipe wrenches with the 12" Cobra. I used his wrenches a few times and realized that the 3-pack would fit nicely in my tech bag, no matter what the cost. 3 years later, I use my 10" Cobra for almost EVERYTHING I do.Replacing air line fittings, grabbing fresh hot welded metal, plumbing, reaming, pulling teeth from gangsters, hammering...I work in a large factory and when I go to problem call, I take a Milwaukee 13-1 screwdriver and my 10" Cobra. 80% of the time, they work every time. When I do need a 2nd tool, I just grab my 12" Cobra and use it with my 10". I rarely use the little guy, but when I replace a crane hook latch and am grabbing little nuts like M3 (or my own), it still gets used.I hate paying this much for 3 stupid wrenches, but GD are they the most useful tools ever. The grip is insane, years later. 1/2" piped my furnace, couldn't have done it without em. I loved my first set so much that I bought a 2nd set for home so I didn't have to take my tech bag home every day just in case.My next try from Knipex will be their adjustable "crescent" wrenches. The 3-pack, because I have a feeling they're as godly as the cobras. They just cost sooo much, $150-$170 ish for 3 wrenches. The $100/$110 range for these 3 has replaced almost every wrench I've ever used and is totally worth it. Shoot it with some PB blast or WD40, any oil, once a year, and they should last the average user long enough to get 3-100x your money out of them.

Bigger jaw
I bought a pair of wiseup and another set of knipex. Cheap set for the camper and a good set for the shop. The heads are the same width. They open the same but knipex has a larger adjustment slide than the wiseup. So you can grab bigger chit without getting the bigger pliers. I do like the grips better on knipex. They have a texture.

These Damn Tools do ALL the work FOR YOU!
Heck in’ Damn man!As a plumber, I started out with coworkers whom had these and bragged about them like they were GOLD.I used them a few times and could feel a great quality and feel to them.…But that was BEFORE I bought my pair…..My opinion has changed since then. After buying these AND using them on the field for commercial and residential plumbing, I can say that these dang things feel like they were MADE for ME!My Father always used to tell me:A tool is is used to do the work for you.Well, that’s EXACTLY what these do.Additionally, I have shaken hands so regular channel-locks can sometimes be frustrating. These offer me stability due to the positioning you can set the handle to.It is medium weight but the metal feels very sturdy and a great quality.I noticed they don’t open very wide but then when you slide the slot fully open, you can get an extremely reasonable wide grasp depending on what you’re tightening of course. For example, I used the medium and large pair to tighten down some 3/4” female adapters onto a water heater and it did the job better than my typical choice of a crescent wrench. Normally that’s my choice by these were shiny new and I used them for a bunch of things afterwards.I could give you a great number of other things it has done for me but I think my point is clear.Overall, these damn things are pure quality in the eyes of this service plumber. I would buy them for my house AND for my work truck.Moving forward, I think I want to try some of their other tools as well. These have literally blown me away with the amount of LEVERAGE it provides in addition to the grasp of tool.I would recommend these to anyone out on the field. Maybe even a homeowner depending on how you like your tools. If you like quality and condition. These are mint and they are a tool that does the work FOR YOU!12/10 WOULD BUY AGAIN (yes 12/10 because they get +2 bonus points)

The best there is...
You could get by for a while with the lower quality, lower priced water pump style players, but if you want the best heirloom quality tool there is, these are the ones. This set comes packed in a thin plastic tray with the pliers nested in their own compartments. It's not the best, but it does suffice to put in your toolbox for better organization. Don't be surprised if there will be some cracks or splits in your tray when it arrives after it's transatlantic travels. If you're going to get this set, this UK dealer will save you 30-40 bucks if you don't mind waiting a week or two for them.
