PyrexEasy Grab 8-Inch Square Baking Dish

Okay, so by now everyone knows that Pyrex isn't the old Pyrex any more, right? So five stars are out right there. However, with four being the best possible score left, I have to give this a four. The dish is well designed with very easy to grab handles. (Yes, even while wearing a thick oven glove.) The sides are slightly sloped to make serving and cleaning easier. And the glass is just a bit thicker than most ovenware, I think, so that it looks a bit nicer. The refrigerator lid fits very snugly and won't pop off easily although I had to think a moment before I tried to fit it on the first time. And the handles do take up a bit of extra room in a holiday-food-packed refrigerator. But having easy access to the handles even when the lid is on more than makes up for that. In fact, if the company were to go back to the old Pyrex formula (wishful thinking, I know,) I wouldn't just have to give it five stars out of five. I might have to give it eight.

I bake in it. The lid is nice feature. The design though is awkward. The "handles" accommodate the lid fastening but are not manually friendly. Hard to figure a focus group that liked the design if they actually tried to use it..

These were awesome. I ordered 8 and they came individually wrapped and was exactly what I needed. I love that the lid fit snugly on each one. One lid did not because of a small crack on the lid itself. It didn't bother me any because I purchased these for my lab. These act as a container to submerge material in different fluids. So I really didn't need the lids as they had no affect on the outcome of my testing. All in all I would purchase these again if I need them at work. I am also thinking about purchasing them to use in my kitchen at home. They would be great for baking, storing and transporting all in the same dish.

This is a perfect size to hold a cook a small steak salmon etc. Sometimes you just don't want to get out a big pan or pot to cook. This pan is perfect the food cooks well and evenly in this pan. I used this pan in a 375 degree oven and the food cooked beautful. It's also small enough not to take up a lot of space in the cabinet. The top is only for storage it can not used in the oven. That is why I gave it a four rating instead of the five.

I ordered this wallet case for my Samsung Galaxy s6. I admit, I had low expectations but needed a new cover. I love this case! It's very well made. Protects the phone nicely and looks fantastic. The magnets hold it open and there's a strong magnet that latches it closed as well. Only wished it protected the corners of my phone better but when the case is closed, the phone feels safe so maybe it's unnecessary. Overall very happy!

I needed this sized glass dish for a zucchini lasagna and was so excited that it came with a lid to make it portable. Well the lid didn't stay on so that was a waste. I put it through the dishwasher and that made the lid fit but still odd that it didn't fit right out of the box. Good pan, hold heat well, cleans up super easy and is pretty deep!

Other reviewers commented on how the cover isn't airtight, and that's true, but it sure is convenient. I have had no problems with anything "drying out", it's a nice cover. I like not using plastic wrap every time I want to store what I baked (and frankly, I've never seen a plastic wrap that is airtight after the first use, nor would I trust it to retain spills). If you have something sloppy in there, and plan to transport it, you'll want to be careful with it since it is not air tight I imagine wet sloppy stuff could leak out. But I use it for baking brownies, cakes and pan breads, and the cover is wonderful - just what I wanted.

I bought this baking dish to replace one that finally broke after I've had it for many years. I like that this Pyrex square baking dish has such nice large handles on it so that it is easy to grab. It also still fits into my microwave too. Also it has a great lid to it so that I don't have to look for some plastic wrap to cover what I've cooked in it. I really like this square baking dish even better than my old one.
