This product removes hairspray from floors.
I used every floor, bathroom and dish cleaner I could buy to get the sticky residue left on my floor from hairspray and I washed the floor, sprinkled the borax on and left a few mins and boom...clean and shiny floor.

A must-have for my laundry
I have a household with cats & dogs, so naturally have stains & odors in my dirty laundry, from time to time. I use this in every load & have for years, just like my mother & grandmother always did.

Household Staple with Baking Soda and Vinegar
Borax is safe if used safely. EWG correctly warns not to expose yourself to large amounts or ingest in high doses. The same precautions apply to vinegar. Used correctly (as a laundry additive or DIY cleaner), it's a valuable addition to the homecare arsenal. It's color safe on most clothing in the washer. Diluted in a bucket of water, it works (and smells) like the old brand name powdered floor cleaner my mom used to use, and you can do just as much with it.It's highly alkali, so the same folks who will tell you that you need to deacidify your body will on occasion urge you to drink some to cure whatever ails you.Don't.Don't drink it.Wear gloves when you clean with it.It's less toxic than most commercial cleaning products. You'll be fine.

Still using it after forty years
I have been using this product for decades. I discovered it when my daughter was in diapers - back then we only had cloth diapers and keeping them nice and white and fresh was a chore. I hated to bleach them because it took washing again to make sure there was no residue left to irritate a tender bottom and I also noticed that sometimes the bleach seemed to set certain stains. Enter borax, exit stains.Have been using 20 Mule Team ever since. Sometimes I do pretreat a bad stain with something like Shout, but for the most part I just use the borax with my detergent. Repeated washings with borax will eventually remove almost all stains if you don't want to use a supplemental booster. And the fabric is nice and fresh feeling with no smell. The local grocers, etc. do carry this product for a cheaper price. I like having stuff delivered to my door and don't mind paying a little extra to not have to carry it.

Amazing household multitasker!
Best all around product besides baking soda and vinegar in my house. It is an excellent laundry and dishwasher booster as it helps soften the water, helps remove stains from clothes, decreases water spots and works as a great ant killer! Simply mix with jelly or honey to create a loose paste and leave in their trail wherever you see them coming in. They will swarm it and grub, (fight all instincts to bust out the flame throwers and send them to Hades,) let them eat to their hearts content. They will take it back to their home and queen and share as they do and then the magic happens. The Borax slowly poisons them and you never see them again! After they are gone, I sprinkle a combination or cinnamon and cayenne pepper around the area they came in so they won't come back that way and voila! No stinky pesticides!
