My Mother loved this stuff and so do I. It is a wonderful laundry additive for cleaning heavy duty messes and eliminating odors such as gasoline or oils, skunks, etc. And it has numerous other uses. Read the label.

This product is great, have used it for years to clean laundry and remove oil stains on things and is gentle on skin when used with detergents. This is the second time I have ordered this product from Amazon and the only down fall is that a good big of it winds up in the packing box bc it gets tossed around a lot. Would recommend them placing it in plastic bags or vacuum seal it.

This affordable powder will outperform many products you purchase anywhere from 10 times to 100 times for less money. #1. Removing stains. I had an oil stain on some pants. I washed them with regular detergent about 20 times with no improvement. I tried spot treatment with baking soda, soaps etc nothing worked. I spot treated with borax then out it in the regular wash and the oil stain is 100% gone. Not almost gone but can't tell it was ever there. #2. Kills weeds even poison ivy. I posted some pictures of how this worked on weeds and poison ivy. I just mixed some borax in how water with some soap and then sprayed it on the leaves. It takes about a week to see the results. The pictures I took are about 1.5 to 2 weeks after spraying the poison ivy. #3. Kills bugs. Works really well for this at a fraction of the cost of bug killer. Just mix some in with something sweet. Honey, corn syrup etc and when the bugs eat it, it's over. Also, it works really well for things like carpenter ants because they will take this mixture back to the queen and it will kill the entire colony. #4. Preserves wood. Just recently learned this can be used to treat wood to last longer outdoors. It looks to be more effective than most of the stuff you buy in the store to treat decks, fences, etc. There are many uses for borax and even just one would pay for itself. Not only does it have all these uses but does all of them extremely well. This is a must to have in your home.
