I am socializing a cat who adopted me to be indoors as well. He quickly claimed a specific chair as his for his naps and liked to scratch the back of it and climb up the back. I put these on it and got him his own sturdy scratching post nearby and the problem was solved. He never showed an interest in the nearby leather sofa and only has an occasional interest in scratching the rugs. I could see him looking very confused the first time he encountered it. He tried a little scratch and quickly walked away in disgust. So these large sheets worked perfectly for my needs. I will keep them there since they are on the back of chair and can't be seen.

We have a lovable male kitten that just enjoys pulling our chains. One of his favorite activities was to jump up on our stereo cabinet and knock anything up there to the ground. While he was up there, he also thought it was great fun to stretch on my curtains and destroy them. We cut these sheets to fit the top, and then we taped them into place as to not ruin the finish on the cabinet. It works marvelously. We also used it to deter scratching on our couch, and that also worked. Be aware that as the sticky side is exposed to the air and dust, it does lose it's stickiness. When that happens, just replace it with a new sheet. Well worth the money when you consider the damage done to your furniture and belongings.

I have have two cats that still have their claws. I have several scratching posts for them to use. However, they were literally tearing my furniture apart. When I saw this product and what it said it delivered, I just prayed it was true.It was TRUE! I just followed the instructions and it was easy to install. You can use a whole sheet or cut it into the desired size. I had to remove the product and rearrange it in a particular area and it came off the furniture easily and I was able to reattach it to the furniture securely. The product is clear on the furniture so it is not be an eyesore.I brought out my scratching posts again and my fur babies have not touched my furniture one time after realizing the product was in place. They do NOT like the stickiness!A total win! I would definitely buy this product again!

These really do work and keep the cats claws from destroying furniture. They stick fairly well but would be nice if they stuck a bit better. A few tend to peel off so you have to pop them back on but most stick to our furniture very well. It's a no brainer for the price, grab a set!

I applied the product to two recliners and a soft-sided ottoman. The cat didn't get close to it to even try scratching (I guess that's a good thing) but I certainly stuck myself and my clothing. When I did, some of the tape came loose or stayed attached to me or my clothing. It was also large and difficult to keep from sticking back onto itself even though I worked in small areas leaving the portion I wasn't working with attached to the protective covering. I could see how some people might get this product to stop their animals from attacking the furniture but I think it would have stuck to my cat and I'm lucky I didn't have a bigger problem in the end. I guess this isn't a negative review -- more a use with caution review. In the meantime, I'm off to buy more Panther Armor because that's worked far better for our furniture and it's only slightly tacky to help hold it in place before attaching with fabric screws (I did cheat and use some furniture tacks, too).

This is a great item! I love that when it is on a tumbler it sticks! It is not easy to take off - which is great!

Cat will not touch it. Even if something small cut ya a small piece of big shop.

We used this product to discourage our cat from scratching the living room furniture. It was easy to use and install and seems to be working.We would recommend this product.

This product is very sticky...takes 2 people to install it or you run the danger of it sticking to itself before you can place wrinkle free

This is easy to use and apply. But, my cat loves the taste of it (loves any type of tape), so I can't actually use it. It also doesn't bother him to step on it. If your cat dislikes sticky tape it would work great.

This is perfect ! Keeps my cats from scratching my furniture ! I love it!
