Melissa & Doug Merry Mermaid Wooden Dress-Up Doll and Stand - 33 Magnetic Accessories,Multi/None

This toy is beautifully made. She's sturdy, and the magnetic pieces stick wonderfully. The outfits are adorable and she was a huge hit on Christmas day. My daughter doesn't play with her as much as I had hoped, but that's not the fault of the product or Melissa and Doug. It's merely my LO's own interests. I love the stand, and while the tray's handy, it's not the best for storing everything without a cover. Easy enough fixed though; I just threw the pieces in a ziplock bag and kept Merry herself in the tray. Not even worth losing a star over. This toy is wonderful, and if a child isn't into it, it isn't going to be because of the quality or cuteness factor in my opinion.

We gifted this to a four year old little girl who loved it. The set has quite a few pieces to mix and match. I found the set very well built and durable. I believe it would last a long time. It is also very cute and colorful.

What a hit! I got this for my 5 year old after she showed interest in her little sister's Peppa Pig one. It really is a beautiful toy, classic and well made. Some pieces are a bit small but it prompts my girls to slow down. They love taking turns selecting outfit combinations.The only shortcoming is the packaging- something with an attached and latching lid would make it absolutely perfect.

This is a nice little magnet doll dressup and my 4 year old loves it. There are a good amount of tops and bottoms, including one outfit giving the mermaid legs rather than a tail, and coordinating accessories. Only problem, as anyone who has other Melissa & Doug magnet dolls knows, is that the container has no cover to hold all those little pieces in so it is easy to lose them if you're not very careful.

This toy does have some small pieces, but even a 2 year old (under supervision) would enjoy it immensely! It's well made, cute, and helps with creativity, motor skills, etc. The different tops, tails, and accessories stick as they should. As usual, it'd be nice if Melissa and Doug products had tops attached to their storage boxes, but I still love their stuff. Fun toy!

I typically really like Melissa and Doug products. I bought this as a birthday gift for my niece. It's cute and well constructed, but I'm disappointed that you cannot stack pieces on top of each other, they just lay on top. It should be magnetic or have some way of keeping the extra clothes and accessories fixed so that when a child picks it up they stay attached.

Great for our 2 year old granddaughter. Anything Melissa and Doug makes is well worth the price. We have many of their toys.
