Fits perfectly
Great mobile phone holder, especially since once it's fitted there's no hunting for it or having to clean off suction marks ..Only downfall I found was removing the screws and replacing them for the longer ones supplied, I have chunky hands so found this rather fiddly , but I persevered and it's now in place and looks great..

Great quality item
Great piece of kit! Very easiy to install, unfortunately I receive the wrong size allen screw bit, it was the wrong size plus wasn't anywhere near long enough (I saw people on Youtube fot this and their bit they received was at pesst twice the length)This meant I couldn't secure one of the 2 screws which screws the rev counter to the steering column. As a standard screwdriver cannot be used once the phone holder is in place. Not sure how this will affect when I go for a drive etc and I will need to purchase a bendy screwdriver or a long allen key to screw in properly and finish the install.Overall amazing product, I have deducted 1 star due to not recieving the correct allen bit which means it's not fully secure. If I had receive the correct installation items, it would be a 5 star easily.

Good, but very fiddly install
Per the title… this is not clip on and go. I knew this at purchase, but was still surprised with how fiddly 3 screws removed and replaced could be! Recommend cutting the installation tool length down so it actually fits in the space you need it to! Otherwise, great product

Unobtrusive phone holder
Really pleased with this as there's not much room on the dash in a Mini One to affix a phone holder and I didn't fancy dandling one out of a vent. Seems pretty sturdy and was a doddle to fit after watching the video instructions.

Very disappointing with service and product
Hmm. Ordered and it came without the phone holder. Reported it and got one with it, but a different colour to what I'd ordered. 3rd time lucky?!Fitted it... The position of the brack means the MINI writing and flag are at a word angle, not level. Really pretty rubbish. I'll be covering it somehow.Good points? It feels sturdy and puts the phone in a good position.Would I buy this again, no.Would I buy from this seller again, no.

Wow! Impressed. Fits perfectly
The media could not be loaded. This is perfect for my mini 2012 model. I tried 3 different types of phone holders to no avail. So because of the dash and instruments of these cars, great as they look, they are absolutely rubbish for sticking anything to them with stickers or suction type stands, or if you do the glass windscreen it’s in the line of vision and it’s not suitable, or the type that fit down in the cup holder just get in the way of the controls. You can forget getting one for the air vents that doesn’t work either. After those fails I almost have up but decided to try and research. I saw these and I was sceptical but god am I pleased. Easy to install (you need one of those star type screwdrivers for the first stage- see images). The screws the little screwdriver all work perfectly. This is genius you won’t be disappointed. Clasp fits with my iPhone too. Delivery was quicker than exepected as well so all good.

Great Smartphone mount for a Mini but fitting is a struggle
This is a great idea. Instead of the usual suction / glue/ ventilation flap mounting compromises, the idea is that you remove some of the screws holding the speedo dial housing together, and replace them with the slightly longer screws supplied to hold the arm firmly in place. The arm is really solid metal and holds the phone at just the right spot, although you can change the angle and tilt. However, the fitting instructions are hopeless. The speedo screws are at the rear of the housing and are hard to get access to or even see. The idea is that you remove two further screws to lift the speedo mounting free of the steering column. However the supplied tool does not fit these screws and in any case there is hardly any room. It was easier to use a small mirror to give sight of the speedo mounting screws - see the photo - and if you move the steering wheel back as far as it will go there is just enough room to undo them. The replacement screws are just the right length to keep the speedo housing in one piece and hold the mounting arm.I only bothered using two screws for mounting as this is good enough for a firm fitting and also avoids any risks about not being able to put the speedo back together if all screws were removed.

This is a nice piece of kit
Have ordered a couple of these from different manufacturer so far, but have not managed to find one that fits. My wife has a right hand drive F57 Mini Cabriolet. She wants to be able to use her 'phone as a satnav, mounted towards the centre of the car from the back of the instrument cluster above the steering wheel. Removal of the cluster is easy, as long as you have a size 20 Torx driver, but despite recommendations, none of the holes line up. Has anyone with the same car found a solution?
