Sit down, buckle up, and let me tell you a story about a boy who shined like a star in the most god-awful way.This is the first time I've ever been excited to write a review - it is long, but worth it if you struggle with shiny/oily skin.I have struggled with oily skin my entire life. Not just oily, but my forehead shines an embarrassing amount. I hated pictures with the flash on and would try to fix the shine with Photoshop later. I have tried Proactive, and countless other products hoping one would finally help.I constantly wiped my forehead on my sleeve, made a point to rinse the oil from my face in the afternoon, or used the oil absorbing wipes, just finally resigned to the fact that this is just part of my life.I am not sure why, but I recently went on several hour long investigation for masks and 'top 10 products to reduce oil', etc. Most were blogs that had some all natural or sponsored cure. I eventually came across someone who wrote a rave review about Clean and Clear Continuous Control Acne face wash. I ordered it along with 3-4 other products.Oh. My. Gosh.Within 2 days of using it I started to see a change. I would go to the bathroom to check my face and realize I don't need to blot my oily forehead! After just a week I have see a drastic difference and it honestly makes me tear up a little bit. Seriously. I cannot say enough good things. As someone who has been self conscious about this for far too long, the confidence boost alone is so wonderful. I am no longer stuck with a shiny forehead all of the time. It isn't perfect, but the difference is extremely notable and well worth $10. I use this along with a mask once a week, as well as nose/forehead strips and trying to be in the sun a bit. But Continuous Control is what made the biggest difference.This might not be the cure for you, but in my experience it is 100% worth a shot. I've had oily skin my whole life from teenage years right through retirement. Yep. While I use gentle facial cleaner, I wash my face multiple times each day to try and get that clean feel when the oil is gone. This stuff is a miracle! After applying just a little bit each morning and night, my skin feels amazing for the first couple of hours- and stays less oily all of the time. My complexion immediately improved- Yes older people get break-outs. I've had none for 6 weeks.Tip- How to apply.Use only a pea sized amount. I spread all of this in a 3-4" narrow straight line on my forehead using my finger tip. Like an artist dabs paint from a palette, using your finger tip take some from the line and spread on the other oily areas of your face. For me it's my nose and surrounding areas. Quickly spread it on all of the oily areas watching the time. Keep it away from your eyes and eye lids. For me 30 seconds of lightly applying it and rubbing it in is plenty. Rinse thoroughly and dab your face with a towel. You will be amazed at how great your skin feels.

This is the only cleanser that my face accepts😭I’ve been trying so hard looking for this product since it’s out of stock and they’re not making more of this but THANKS god I could finding. Please keep making more of this product and god bless your business:)

I searched all over for a replacement cleanser after Clearasil discontinued their face wash that contained benzoyl peroxide. Most acne washes have salycic acid as their main active ingredient which does nothing for me. I finally found a cleanser that contained the benzoyl peroxide. I've been using it for about 9 months and it does the trick and is more effective than the salycic acid washes. I don't love it like I liked the Clearasil cleanser, but not because it doesn't work as well just because this comes more out like a cream than a cleanser. Other than that it fine. I would still recommend to someone who suffers from acne and is looking for an over the counter solution.

I am very familiar with BP, I use to go to the dermatologist all the time. While dermatologist do a great job, the prescriptions are very costly, even with health insurance. I've had acne since a teen, at the age of 25, i still struggle with it. Ok so there is no permanent way to get rid of acne, because of hormones, but you can have clear skin and keep it, aslong as you don't stop treating it. so every time that I would go to the dermatologist, they took a look, and found the perfect perscriptions for me. So of course i would read the label, ingredients, etc.... so i know they use, the following: BP cleanser, at first itdried out my skin, so my doctor told me to mix it with a mild cleanser like Cetaphil, and only use the BP cleanser once a day; clindamacin in the morning; adapalene at night. So wash your face 2x a day, one time with the BP cleanser and one time with a mild cleanser, after washing apply clindamacyn in the morning and adapalene at night, then don't forget to apply moisteriser with SPF in the morning and a non comodogenic one at night. This is how I achieve clear skin, without breaking the bank.

I usually buy this stuff at Walgreens, and was delighted to find it on Amazon - a little bit cheaper than the drugstore, and I don't have to force myself to remember to pick any up on my drugstore visits! The benzoyl peroxide in this Clean & Clear is one of the strongest over-the-counter formulas that works on my face, and it helps keep it clear. I ran out about a month ago and thought that I could get away with not buying anymore because my face was looking good, but that was a bad idea. Bad breakouts over the past month and I figured it was time to order a new tube. Hopefully my face will get back to being happy and clear!It definitely has a bleaching effect on cloth, though. Definitely make sure it ALL comes off in the shower (or sink) before wiping your face on colored towels or sleeping on a colored pillowcase unless you're okay with that to have bleach marks. Other than that though, a great product!
