I received this very fast and securely packaged. I cooked with it right after I got the delivery and of course cleaned it. It makes wonderful rice! I can't wait to use all of the functions that it has! I will have to play with rice water ratio but other than that it was perfect! No problem with condensation escaping but again I have only made rice so I hope I don't have that problem some people have had. I have owned quite a few rice cookers from very cheap to expensive but I have to say this by far is my favorite the see through lid is a bonus and the buttons are easy to read most have very small letters. It reminds me of a instapot but better I don't have to worry about it exploding if it get too much pressure.I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a pretty much all in one cooker. A friend of mine has this and she uses hers for hot pot, which I love. The saute feature will come in handy when making a dish that calls for cooking onions garlic ect first then adding the protein. I will revise my review and add pictures when I makes other recipes with my new rice cooker.

I absolutely LOVE this cooker for so many things! I use it more for sauteing, simmering and cooking vegetarian soups, beans and stews. It is the perfect size to make a meal or soup with leftovers for another time. I hardly ever cook on my stove-top anymore! Once I pick my setting, it maintains the heat evenly and I don't have to keep checking to see if it is simmering too hard.After sauteing, I can add my liquid, bring it to a simmer and reduce the heat by turning it off and back on to slow cook for as long as I want. The 2 hour fast cycle is pretty vigorous, but often all I need is 20-30 minutes and my dish is done. If I want my dish to cook more slowly, I put it on the slow cycle and just stop it after an hour or two when the dish is done.If I do cook rice or other grains, I have found that I need to use more liquid than I would with a lidded pan on the stove. I think this is because there is a lot of steam coming out which evaporates the water more quickly.Recently I poured boiling water into the pot about half way up, salted it and cooked my pasta in it. You really don't need gallons of water for pasta, just boiling water with salt in a container that all the pasta can be submerged. It worked perfectly!I use this cooker almost every day and I highly recommend it!

Rice come out very good and can be used to cook many dishes

This is by far the worse rice cooker I've owned. It broke less than 3 weeks of receiving it from Amazon. Unfortunately, I didn't know that I only have 1 month to return this junk cooker back to Amazon. Now I'm stuck with working with Aroma customer service. The rice cooker wouldn't stop cooking so it went on and on until I noticed it and turned it off. The bottom of the rice was all burnt and crusty.The service department at Aroma was terrible as well. Now I have to send the unit to them for them to inspect the cooker. Once they inspected, then they will send me a new one. In the meantime, I'm without a rice cooker for probably 2-3 weeks. Their process is terrible and I will never buy another unit from Aroma.Terrible to say the least. Don't buy this unit, period!!

This is the best rice cooking ever! They make my sauté easy and I do not need to use the stove anymore to do it. I used to need to sauté my garlic before on the stove and add it to the rice, now is one simple process. This is perfection. Highly recommend.
