Saddlemen3501-0321 Extra Jumbo Drifter Slant Saddlebag

I bought these for my 2009 Yamaha vstar 1100. You will need the brackets purchased separately to keep them away from the wheels. A year later they have held up wonderfully. They can hold your purse on one side and a few other items on the other side. No heavy duty shopping with these bags but great for a few items on a long ride during the fall. I take my bike to work. It can't hold a large laptop. I had to get a back pack for that. It could fit your lunch, a change of clothes folded up tight and maybe a pair of shoes. As a teacher I would recommend as I stuff them to the gills with papers and books.

The hardware on the back, where you disconnect the bag from the yoke, started rusting within a week of installing and riding. The outer-facing side of the bags could use some reinforcing, as they sag in. Those issues aside, they serve me well.The extra jumbo suits the Suzuki VL1500/C90 well.

I have the Saddleman jumbo bags, and they just weren't big enough for my purposes. These are a really good size. I have to admit that I was skeptical about these fitting, without making modifications. I ride a 2004, 1100 v-star classic, with stock passenger pegs, and stock rear turn signal. The extra jumbo bags fit perfect. No mods at all.

Bags don't hold their shape and are floopy on the bike - a little concerned that they may not hold up under use. Middle tends to collapse in so I have to pack the bags with light weight stuff (towel, jacket liner, etc). Decided to MacGyver a hard bag style mount that keeps them in place but I still need to have them pretty full to keep their shape. Look larger in the picture. Long term I am going to put up the money and go with a hard bag solution but these will do for a while.

Bought the large for my 2002 Suzuki Marauder...no need to move tail lights; just fits and no issues opening nor closing bags...make sure you get the bag support...I ended up permanently mounting my bags, and bought the Saddlemen zippered bag liner (two per pack).
