ABUS130/180 Granit Hasp, 6-1/8" Length, Black

The strongest hasp that I have ever seen. Totally love it, although it is pricey! Note: the bolts are torx.

This is a very high quality product and very heavy duty. You will not find a hasp this good at the hardware store.I ding one star because it does not come with a template to drill the holes, which effectively doubled the time required to install it.

This hasp is massive compared to store bought versions. Very heavy and double hardened malleable iron. Mounting plate stable is 7mm thick. Body is 14mm at thickest but has concave areas like a picture frame. Hard to measure all of them, tapered also. Only the U.K. pragmasis HS1 CEN 4 may be more durable at double the cost for what I paid. The only way to improve this hasp is to increase the staple hole slightly while keeping ring thickness the same. That way you could fit the Abus beast like 37/80 CEN 5 lock On this hasp. It's close to fitting but no dice. Hole just a hair too small for the big 14mm shackle of the 37/80 insurance lock. Both are excellent products though.I'll keep using the 37/80 on hardened security chain of 14-19mm where it excels. Can't go wrong on this hasp for storage buildings, sheds, etc etc. anywhere you want tough resistance to brute force attacks. Nothing is 100 percent but this will slow the bolt cutter, pry bar, and hammer crowd down. Welders and cutting grinders get through most everything so In that case booby trap the lock. :-)

This is the toughest hasp I've ever seen. I confirmed that a Granit 37/80 does fit smoothly and easily with no room to spare.

Now that's what I call a hasp! Heavy duty and worth every cent. Be sure to bolt it down with solid bolts, though, otherwise you're defeating the purpose of this solid unit.

This is a serious hasp! It dwarfs a 12oz can of soda, and is extremely sturdy. I had this welded to the steel frame of my gate and coupled it with an ABUS 37/60 padlock for maximum security.Would buy again for sure. Makes the ones at Lowes or Home Depot look like toys!

This hardware is vandal resistant. I had a machinist make 90 degree angle brackets so I could mount these hasps for an overhead application, and they work well and shrug off abuse. Worth the money. If people attack your hardware with tools, these are the hasps you want.

Wow! The most heavy duty hasp I've ever bought! When I received the package from Amazon and I took out the ABUS box I was surprised by the weight and the size of it. It's actually a lot bigger than what it looks like on the picture. I bought three different ABUS hasps, and that one is the only one that came in a carton box, the two others came in plastic blister pack. It's not made of the same material as the standard silver color (probably zinc plated metal alloy) hasps from ABUS or Master Lock. This one is made out of iron. I have shopped around a lot to find a real high security heavy duty hasp (here on Amazon and also in multiple hardware stores in my area) and that is by far the stronger hasp I came across.The reason I took out one star is because of the price tag. I know it's one hell of a product, but 100$ for a hasp is too much. It's old tech made of iron. You can buy a smartphone for 100$ these days! I bought only one, for the main garage door.
