It's an overly dramatic romance
It started off well, but the evil characters become too good overnight. And people do not behave realistically at all.It all becomes too sickeningly sweet near the end, and the end is not satisfactory. I was waiting for the couple's trip to Concord, but the story ends before they even go there. There is just no substance at the end.

Great clean story
This faith based story follows characters who are believable and human. It is well written without being “preachy”. The storyline has enough interest to keep you reading til the end.

Great story!
What a page-turning and eye-opening look into the social class structure of life in the mill town of Manchester, NH. A very informative and enjoyable read with strong messages of forgiveness. Definitely recommend!

A Great Story
I loved this book that stressed good character no matter your lot in life. I love the time period of the story. The two main characters were people of character who cared about others!
