Best boot I’ve ever had!
Shoes and boots ALWAYS make my feet hurt. It never matters how broken in they are, they always hurt my feet really bad. In addition to never being able to wear anything but sneakers without hurting my feet, my feet are extremely wide. I recently got a job as an EMT and we work 12 hour days. I ordered men’s because they tend to be wider than women’s. They actually fit my wide foot which I’ve never found a shoe that truly fits the width of my foot. usually I end up wearing out the side of it with my foot and it juts out on the side from the rest of the shoe. These boots were a touch big on me (which I anticipated because I didn’t want something too small I would rather have it a little big ) when I first tried them on. I knew if I went to half size smaller they would be too small. My foot was kind of in between sizes. The first day I wore them I got a really bad blister on the back of my foot because they were a touch too big. I bought some heavy duty thick socks, and that did the trick. I also have a very high arch, and they give me plenty support. Not only are these boots super comfortable but they do not hurt my feet at all even after 12 hours. I have never, ever found any footwear other than a sneaker that didn’t hurt my feet so bad I would hobble. They are made really well and I like the fact that I can get them laced up just right for fit and then there’s a zipper on the side to put take them on and off. I didn’t write this review right away because I wanted to make sure that they really didn’t hurt my feet. Normally I would’ve been hobbling after one 12 hour shift. I’ve been wearing them for about four weeks now and I have no issues at all. I will never buy another boot in my life. I’m shocked that I found a boot that doesn’t hurt my feet at all. I’m 50 and that’s never happened in my life. I always had to grin and bear it. I highly, highly recommend these boots if you want something comfortable and sturdy. I’m Impressed beyond imagination. I can’t say enough good things about them. I don’t write a lot of reviews. I only do if something is really really good or really really bad. If you’re on the fence about what boots to buy, buy these. They’re a little pricey, but worth every penny.

Most comfortable
Most comfortable work boot I’ve ever used. But let me specify, these boots are awesome if you’re walking, all day are standing on your feet. I don’t feel they. They would last long on a construction worksite. they’re not made that way they are made for walking or standing. I’m on my second pair and they have lasted long long time, lol.

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
These are amazing boots and I always appreciate when some serious engineering goes into a design. They are unique in that your foot is cradled lower into the midsole, which offers substantial comfort and stability. I recently road tested these with a 4 hour mall trip, alternating between fast walking and standing for long periods-quite comfortable for both. After, I grabbed the dogs and hit our favorite wooded trail on a hot day for a couple hours and was overall pleased with the comfort and internal boot temperature. These are far less suited to off road use, but the design is relatively sure-footed and comfortable. I would have given them a full five stars, but serious consideration must be given for a responder who is searching for an all-in-one duty boot. It’s lightweight, ultra comfortable to stand in and pound a beat; police, security, museum or gallery workers on their feet all day will love them. Now what they’re not for-fast pursuits. If you need fast bursts of speed, the amount of ample cushioning in these boots can really slow you down on hard flooring or concrete and would negate any fast pursuit capabilities going off road as they’re not lugged sufficiently to handle fast terrain work. These compare closely to the large cushioning on Hoka running shoes-sure they absorb the impact nicely, but getting any return on energy is more like climbing a small percentage grade upward, making them rather tiring for when you really have to break out of a leisurely pace. The fit is quite roomy, even in a regular width, plenty of wiggle room for toes to not be strangled. If you need an all day work shoe that you can react faster with on all surfaces, might I suggest the Rocky Alpha Force brand and for all day hard surface wear, GDfyer literally propel you forward comfortably. Although these boots come with a side zipper for faster off and on, you do have to readjust the lacing for your foot to be seated correctly, as all positive handling starts with your heels being seated properly. Overall a keeper and I do hope the cloud like feel of these doesn’t pack down soon as the are enjoyable and take the bite out of hard surface walking and working.

Right boot is comfortable, left boot is not.
I’ve been wearing these boots along with other shoes for about a month. The left boot causes pain in my heel. What’s causing the problem is not visible, so I suspect a quality control issue. I won’t be buying these or any other boots made by Belleville in the future. I have never experienced this problem with boots from other manufacturers.

Most comfortable boots I have ever owned.
These boots feel like my running sneakers. These boots also to the pressure of my back and hips due to my work equipment. I just wish these boots came in a waterproof model and winter insulated/waterproof model.
