Fit and works properly, good value and easy to install. Got my vacuum up and running in 10 minutes.

Had a vibrating noise only when the brush was on. When I took the brush out to clean it you could see the obvious wear on the end of the brush bar and also on the End Cap Replacement for the Brush Bar. I read some reviews that said this might not be the noise and to call Dyson because the have great customer support. They do have great support and after a few questions we identified that this was part of the problem. This piece and the Brush Bar both wear out. When one wears the other does do so replace both at the same time so you don't ruin a new part by putting a good part with worn one. Cheaper here than through Dyson, works great and got here quicker with Prime as well.

I bought this because my brush bar was mangled at one end and was making the brush bar vibrate too much causing the vacuum to vibrate and trip the shut-off...or so I thought. My problem turned out to be something other than the brush bar. After I had purchased this and replaced it, I turned the vacuum on for about 30 seconds only to have the same problem, ruining the new brush bar. After this happened I contacted Dyson and found out there is a 5 year warranty on my DC24. Within 5 minutes the Dyson technician pinpointed the problem and sent me a replacement vacuum head, free of charge. Having learned my lesson, I will contact Dyson in the future if I have problems rather than trying to fix the issue myself.I am giving the product 5 stars based on the product, rather than my experience with my vacuum. The product itself is pretty similar to the Dyson one (the bristles on this generic one are slightly shorter than the OEM). Other than that, it fit perfectly in position and I assume would do the job perfectly as well assuming you don't have the same problem as I did. I would purchase from this company again as the part appears to have been well made.

The beater bar came as advertised along with a new bearing. It looked exactly like the old one. Installation was simple and only required a flathead screwdriver. Works fine.

I've had my Dyson Ball (24) for 13 years. I've replaced the hose, the base plate, and now the brush in the last few years. But the genius of Dyson is that these parts CAN all be easily and quickly replaced by the owner and not taken in for expensive repairs. This brush was no exception--super easy, super quick, and ready to keep on cleaning. This company finally realizes that for what you pay for one of these machines, you should be able to use them for decades, not just a few years and they're done. Applause all around for the beauty of this design!

Our beloved DYSON D24 had stopped sucking very well, which sucked, only it didn't—you know what I mean. It also made a heckuva racket—shaking and vibrating and scaring our cats, our neighbor's cats, and the cats the next street over. Then I Googled what the problem might be, hoping there was some easy fix. Turned out that it was this little part, which costs less than $10 with shipping included. You pop it in, close 'er up, and let 'er rip. Ta da! Our beloved DYSON is back to being a quiet, sucking, fabulous machine, just like it always used to be. And THAT does not suck at all.

This is the 3rd brush bar I've replaced on my Dyson Ball. Easy to install and works until the end grounds down and no longer turns. Wish Dyson would make this bar with better materials that don't wear down, but then they wouldn't sell more vacuums. Most people would just throw away and get another, but I'm a one income household and can't make big purchases every year and a half.

This brush bar fit our DC-24 perfectly and, along with a new end cap, saved us having to replace the vacuum. I read/watched several tutorials on repairing the vacuum and they all specified that it's common when either the brush bar or the end cap breaks, for the other component to immediately become damaged as well, so it's important to replace both at the same time to avoid damaging the new part when you turn it back on. The horrible death rattle our vacuum had been making and the inadequate cleaning are at an end and it's working like new again.Installation was a breeze- it's pretty straightforward but there are lots of helpful YouTube videos to guide you.Overall, very pleased with the product and not having to buy a new vacuum!
