Sturdy, works good
Talked to a neighbor who's a chef before this purchase. He emphasized: you must go metal--for durability and to keep low temperature. So much for the cheap option. I found a resold one of these with "cosmetic damage" at a great deal. I could not identify the "cosmetic damage". It looks fine. And, turns out... my wife won't let me put this on our mantle anyway. This pieces fit well but come apart and clean easily. It fits snugly into my mixer. It has all of the attachments I'll need until I quit my day job. It also comes with sensible instructions, but I threw those out before reading them, because I am a man who grinds my own meat. Then, I smashed a beer can on my forehead and I still managed to figure out how it works. So, works good.

What a great grinder and sausage stuffer!
This fantastic grinder comes with everything you need, and no plastic parts (except the pusher)! It fit my Kitchenaid like an OEM attachment. It has more grind plates than most models, too. I made sausage with it right away, and the fact that everything is metal enabled me to chill the entire thing in the freezer prior to grinding the pork and pork belly, which kept the fat solid. That's important when making sausage, to ensure a good texture. The stuffing nozzles are sturdy and metal as well, and I find it helps to put a thin film of oil on them prior to loading up the casings. A little dish soap and a sinkful of warm water cleaned everything up, easy-peasy. Overall, I couldn't be happier with this grinder!

Great low cost alternative to the kitchen aid
Bought this for something to do. Works like a champ. Well made, easy to clean with hot water and the enclosed brush. Blades were nice and sharp and it fit together quite nicely. The trick, evidently, is to keep your meat half frozen, because this the grinder is all metal you can freeze it. Did a great job grinding and stuffing. Be sure to FULLY seat the grinder into your mixer. I made the mistake of not checking and the grinder swung around on me during the second grind. Totally my fault not the grinders.Could not be happier with the grinder. We used the course and fine grinder attachments as well as the stuffer. All worked very well even for a couple of beginners. Use plenty of pressure during the stuffing. It's easier, and more family friendly, with two. One holding the sausage and the other pushing the meat through the feed tube.I was a bit dubious that the sausage would be as good as our local grocers "made in the store" but it was a total hit with all who tasted. We used 3lbs of pork shoulder and it made several feet of sausage. Definitely cheaper than store bought as well. We'll be using this attachment more!

Ok, but far from great.
Bought this for grinding pork, venison, and beef instead of using my commercial Hobart grinder for 5 lb batches. The cleaning of the Hobart machine is a solid 15 minutes after using it, not to mention schlepping it to and from the basement.I was looking for something smaller and quicker to clean up, and not so heavy and cumbersome. Yes, it fits the bill as far as cleaning, quicker to set up, and it grinds small batches of meat fine. But that’s where it stops. Forget about using sheep casings to make breakfast sausage or snack sticks. You will starve to death before you can even get anything made that you can cook up. Probably some of the most excruciating pain I’ve ever experiencedNow that I had this POS all dirtied up, I still had to resort to getting my Hobart set up to stuff casings. My thoughts and plans of a 5 minute clean up now turned into a half hour ordeal between setting this up, taking apart, cleaning it up, and then all over again with the HobartNo shortcuts this time.Stick to what I know works from here on out.

Do NOT puchase this plastic piece of junk
Total rip off. I purchased this NEW for my daughter for her new kitchen aide mixer. Box had been previous opened and returned. What is inside is PLASTIC, not Metal. Total Junk. Amazon will not allow return due to 3rd party seller. $65.00 down the drain😠

Very sturdy
I have not had a chance to use this yet but I have opened the box and checked it out. It seems to be very well made and sturdy. So far I am very pleased with it.

that's what I needed
I got it and it looked nice. I took a little time to watch a youtube video for best usage. It worked great. That is what I needed. Why pay and arm and a leg for another grinder that will sit on your counter taking space. Buy this and just put it on your Kitchen Aid when you need it. Then put it in the drawer.

Disappointed
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. One star because I can not assemble I can not use due to missing parts I can not use without the main component, the actual attachment...returning it!BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!
