Works great with a few limitations
Overall, I love using this product. I've fixed more items than I can remember. That said, it's not the perfect fix because it WILL be visible. It's not superglue. You need to have this material all around the break. Think of it as a cast for a broken limb. It will allow the limb to be used, but if you want a strong hold, it's going to be obvious. It dries very shiny. As it's going on like a cast, it will be a big white shiny blob. The only exception is when the epoxy is inside of a part. In this case it will hold VERY well. When it’s visible, I've tried coloring it with sharpies, but the color will wear off and you'll be back to white. I've also tried mixing enamel color into the wet epoxy, but it didn't give me the color I wanted, so I didn't use it.I've used this on my truck's engine when the plastic retainer for the throttle was broken by the mechanic (and he didn't take responsibility for breaking it). As the throttle linkage is immediately above the engine, it has held up to the engine heat for 5 years now.I've also found you can sand this epoxy. It finishes quite nicely with wet emery cloth.People who have stated in reviews that the directions show it won't work underwater .. didn't read ALL of the directions. At the very end of the directions it states it will work underwater, but it takes longer to cure.On the slightly negative side: 1) The white blob .. no getting around that. 2) It will break if enough shear force is applied and there have been several plastic toys that it wouldn't hold properly. 3) It also takes quite a while to harden which can prove to be VERY frustrating when trying to repair something. It's fairly fluid when it's first mixed. A few times I've used super glue to hold the parts together and then slathered the epoxy all around the break. This style of repair has worked a number of times. A few times I've also waited 10-15 minutes for the epoxy to start to thicken a bit before applying it.Overall, it can work for many applications .. I've even used it for filling damaged spots in our almost white ceramic floor tile and then sanded it down with wet emery cloth to remove the gloss finish.

Works very well in my shower.
Really like this product. This is the third product that I tried with the small chip that I have in my shower, and it is still there. Follow a few simple steps....1. Dry and clean the chipped area very well.2. sand the area a bit with sand paper. So, when you apply the epoxy it will stick to it.3. clean it again with rubbing alcohol, to make sure the area is completely clean of the any residue that you just sand off in step 2.4. Mix well the epoxy in a flat cap, or any disposable thicker plastic thing that you are going to throw away. Make sure it's mixed well.5. Apply the mix to the area and let it sit. I know it's says it's ready to use after 2 hours. I let my sit over night just to make extra sure.

Good Fix, but Be Careful with Application
I used this to fix some marble kitchen sink anchors and it worked great. The bond is really strong but the application can get a bit messy. I had to make sure to clean up quickly before it dried. It takes a little time to cure but overall, it does the job. Would recommend just be careful with how much you use.

Repaired a chip on a white tub easily
After watching a YouTube video, I bought this epoxy to repair a small open chip in the bathtub. It was easy to dispense, mix, and apply. The color blended really well with the white tub color. I thought I was going to be replacing the bathtub, but this epoxy has extended the life of the tub a little longer.

This epoxy is great!!!
I have a crack in my pool filter housing. That fiberglass shell is upwards of $1,000 to replace. So i decided to try and patch the crack with this epoxy. I disassebled the filter housing, and patched the crack inside and outside. I then covered both inside and outside patches with flex-tape. 24 hours after patching, i am pleased to report that the shell is now leak fee.+ Its at a great price point.+ Easy to use+ can be used underwater+ I like the way the epoxy is I have packed the item for shipment. together in two attached tubes. That makes it very easy to extrude the same amount of both liquids.-I just wish it would cure just a little faster.Overall i am very satisfied with this marine epoxy. I will use it again and highly recommend it.

Attached a skeg to bottom of kayak
I have an Epic GPX Ultra kayak that didn't trek as well as I had wanted it to. Used this to adhere a low profile skeg to the bottom of my boat. Scuffed both the rubber skeg and the fiberglass on the boat, and got a solid seal. Holds firmly, even when the skeg it's supporting the boat when I launch too close to shore and the skeg drags along the ground until I can get clear and not bottom out. Also holds the kayak up if I set it on the ground. Absolutely solid adhesion! Dries a fine white. Takes a while to cure though. Make sure what you're bonding has at least an hour to cure before you put any light load on it, and 24+ hours to be safe for full on use. I used the cap to seal the rest (I only used 1/3 of the dual tubes and I was being generous) to use for future projects.

A must-have for fixit types!
I've repaired many hard plastic items that cracked due to age or poor manufacturing. ASAP after the crack is discovered, use superglue/cyanoacrylate IN the crack, sand the outside and apply the marine epoxy to strengthen the repair. The waterproof nature of this makes it great for all kinds of jobs. I called Igloo when the screw cap cracked on a 6 gal. water jug, hoping to get the part. "Buy a new one; we don't sell those caps." was their reply. Right! I sanded, cleaned the cap, used the marine epoxy and have used it for three years now. I also fixed the screw-on connector for a hand-held shower, and the handle for a rotary cheese grater. If you're a JB Weld kind of person, keep this in your fridge!

Doesn't dry and stay really white!
It says it is white but after it totally dries it is not white but a little creamy color or off white!Easy to use and so far stays attached & solid. I used this on the base of a 1 year old shower that had a small 3/8" chip. Other than color I am happy with this.
