I like the ice cubes that these trays make. They produce pretty much perfect little spheres of ice and additionally an ample quantity of ice produced per tray. Simple and easy to use

These makes awesome ice spheres, 1in diameter. It's best if you over fill them a bit past the indicated line to get a solid ball

this item consists of four 2-piece ice cube trays which make 33 round ice cubes each. the cubes are about an inch in diameter. the trays are a rigid hard plastic. they are easy to fill if a little messy- you need to fill the bottom tray with enough water so that when you press the two forms together there's no unfilled gaps left. because of this there is a little excess water in the top of the two trays after filling, but the design is such that there's plenty of room for the spill over so there's no dripping.because the trays are hard plastic it does take a little longer than silicone trays to freeze, but they are much easier to empty once frozen. although rigid, there is enough play in the plastic to easily allow the ice cubes to release with minimal effort. i also thought that because these are two part trays it might be hard to pry them apart after the water is frozen, but this couldn't be further from the case.these are the easiest ice cube trays to empty that i have owned.cleaning these trays is a little inconvenient as the design is such that there are a lot of recesses that you have to dig into to get a thorough cleaning. these trays are also a little big. if you have a small freezer these might not make sense for you.in spite of the few draw backs, these are really nice ice cube trays.

I was able to perfect these on the third try. I feel these trays work better being more rigid than the silicone trays. Took about 6 hours per batch with fridge set to -2F.

Best cube trays ever!!! And perfect every time. Plus u get like five trays.

Easy to use and is sturdy enough not to spill when placing in the freezer before liquid is frozen.
