Q: Is this gravy mix gluten free ?

Yes it is Gluten Free, also I use half water and Half organic milk when I make it or it’s too salty for our particular taste but it’s the best gravy we have found that’s Soo Easy!

Q: For those who've tried both, how does this gravy compare in flavor to Trio brand brown gravy mix?

I have not tried trio brand, I really like pioneer gravy. All of their flavors.

Q: How do i make this gravy less peppery???

You could also dilute it by mixing with a package of biscuit gravy or sausage gravy depending on how much gravy you want. The Biscuit gravy almost no pepper, the Sausage gravy is about the same as the Biscuit. Even the Peppered gravy has less pepper in it.

Q: Do this Sauce realy have a Liquorice aftertaste ? or maybe it comes from the Molasses in it?

I know a lot of the reviews indicated a licorice aftertaste, but I didn't notice that at all. The gravy was a bit flat, and I had to add lots of pepper to it. For the price, it was worth it though, as I caught it in the Warehouse section, so marked down.
