This guide is not what I thought it would be it has different designs but no instructions on connecting to articles like blankets (what I brought it for) it has blanket edging I already know how to do. Was looking for new edging for blankets, if you are looking for edging for tops you’ve crocheted this might be for you

Lots of great patterns. I like that different types of yarns are used. I just started crocheting since last fall, this is sooooooo much better than searching online for a pattern that is written correctly or the video isn't too slow or - *sigh* I don't miss that. Anyway, this isn't my first book but is the first collection of patterns that focused only on edges. I also have 'just motifs' by the same and it's wonderful.

The edging instructions are easy to understand if you know basic crochet terms. She tells the size yarn and brand she uses in the examples. She also tells the hook size. This helps you know how to duplicate the edgings. I love how she uses a variety of yarn weights instead of just the fine threads. So many of us don't use the finer threads anymore so the book is practical. This is great basic book.

This book has a lot of lovely patterns in it, but a few of the pictures use a dark color of yarn that makes it difficult to see exactly what the pattern in question looks like. But considering that I now have crochet fever, even though I don't have anything in need of an edging, I'd say this was a really good book. :)

I liked a few of the borders. Nothing great or notable about the book, actually.

It's a great resource when you want to add a unique touch to your crochet creations. Cousin's book on borders has easy directions and good photos. Some borders are simple polish for your project, some are just stunning and impressive.

Love this book. It is nice to have instructions about edgings that could go on any kind of crochet item. I have tried several from this book. Easy to understand and good for beginners or advanced crocheters.

Excellent Book! I've recently learnt to crochet and this book has some excellent ideas for borders on my projects and the few ive already tried are easy to do and makes the projects look even better.

A handy booklet to have when you need an idea for a finishing touch.
