faulty device?
not sure if I have a faulty device but when I first tried to charge it wasn't charging at all. The led would light up for a few seconds and shut off. I had to play around with it seeing if it was the USB port. I made sure it was the right voltage etc. I finally got it to charge but it won't charge my iPhone 5 until I do this weird sequence which is annoying. I have to put the adapter first into the device than press the button till it lights up and than plug the mini Usb into the adapter. Why do I have to go through that process all the time? Is it a design flaw or is my device just particularly different. I am constantly worried now that I may lose the adapter because you can't charge the device of the adapter is plugged to the mini usb. I tried to contact Energio but am not sure where.Edit: Energio contacted me and was very apologetic of the possibly faulty device. They did everything in their power to resolve the issue. They sent me a new device but I havn't received it yet. Regardless costumer service is very important and they delivered. Kudos Energio.

I have used two of these chargers now. The first one arrived DOA and was promptly replaced by the seller - he was great to work with and was very responsive - very good customer service! The second one I received however had a different problem. The little white charger gets stuck inside the aluminum body - eventually after I had so much trouble removing the charger end, the white tabs on the side of the charger end ripped off. It is now extremely difficult to get the charger out of the aluminum case to charge anything. I was also disappointed that I was unable to charge the battery pack and have my phone plugged into it. You essentially need two chargers to have simultaneous charging. I have a Samsung S3 whose battery is failing and this little unit would charge about 1.5 to 1.75 charges. The size is great and the aluminum case feels very nice, but I ended up getting a bigger battery pack that had a better charger design (Eoso 10000mah Ultra Slim Dual Port USB Fast Charging Portable Power Bank Built-in Micro USB Cable External Battery Charger Pack for Iphone Samsung Galaxy HTC Motorola Moto Android Smartphone Phone Ipad Tablets Pc (10000mah Black)).

Design wie, though the metal finish and the slim form factor are great, in fact the only 2 good things about the charger that earned the 2 stars, everything else is WRONG!!Again, it might be just not too compatible with the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge, but this charger only adds an extra 30-40 at most with the S6. the 2nd annoying con is when u have to charge the charger itself!! u need to use the accompanying charger, otherwise most generic chargers, or other brand name chargers won't charge this thing, its micro usb socket is placed in a deep groove requiring very specific dimensions for any charger to be used.last, as if all that isn't bad enough, the metal, as cool as it looks, overheats REALLY EASILY, making it inconvenient to charge on the go , while holding the phone, or while keeping the phone in u pocket, which defies the whole idea of getting a portable charger. I really thought I would like this charger, but I didn't, u definitely want to try the motorola powerpack slim 4000, way better.

Everything works as expected but there is one major issue - the built in usb cord fits REALLY tight when stored flush in the usb socket. The little tab you see to the right of the plug in the photo is useless because it only lifts on one corner of the usb plug making it even harder to lift out. You have to use your finger nails to grab the center of the plug and pull exactly 90 degrees from the edge. I leave the usb plug very loose inside the plug so I don't have to deal with this.

It's a pretty stylish battery
It's a pretty stylish battery, and it re-charges phones (Nexus 5s) admirably quickly. I also like that the capacity is large enough for more than one recharge of the phone. The case also seems to be quite sturdy. The one thing that I am concerned about is the cable, it's on the flimsy side and I'm afraid that one day it'll break and render the battery useless.

Charger of the year
This was the first time I ordered from Amazon Prime and I have to say my experience was great. I love this charger. Its so convenient. I like that it came with an IPhone adapter and USB cable cord. I heard a lot of good things regarding this charger and it's living up to it's reputation. A must buy for the holidays. A great stocking stuffer. I'm no longer carrying my plug-in charger, I don't need it. It fits right in my purse, even small enough for my clutch. I love that it is so thin and discreet. I definitely recommend this to all my friends.

Thin, powerful, necessity.
Charges my phone twice. Inexpensive. As far as I am concerned, a thin, powerful cell like this is required gear until we have a power cell revolution.Charges my Samsung Galaxy 6 Edge about 2 times.
