I have two medium sized dogs who go through about 24oz of water a day.Was looking for a small form factor gravity bowl without filters. (I use RO water so the charcoal filters are essentially useless-- however for anyone reading, PLEASE use high quality water that you'd personally drink, not sink water; if it's bad for you, it's bad for you fur baby)What I like:+ VERY big water jug opening. I'd probably rinse out with soap/water every refill, and it's so large I can fit my hand in.+ Holds 2.5 gallons. My previous oversized Kong bowl was maybe 32-48oz, and would last about 48 hours completely full. This is 320 oz! 10x as much water while keeping the same form factor, just taller. I can probably go a week + without touching it.Only had it a few days. But impressed with the simplicity and design.Flaws:- The bowl is a bit difficult to clean and wish it came in stainless steel rather than cheap plastic. Otherwise none.PRO TIP: when you fill you jug, screw the cap on, then put the bottom piece on upside down and tighten to the jug. This will prevent any leaking, then you simply flip over and you're good to go.Don't try and put the jug on with the bowl on the ground, you WILL spill.

We are watching 2 large dogs who drink a lot more than our small dogs and they suggested that we get this. I have always noticed in the regular bowl of water I would have to empty it before it was empty because the water would be full of saliva. I don't know why but it doesn't happen with this system. I have also noticed that the bowl doesn't feel slimy when I refill it as well.It is easy to clean and easy to fill. the locking mechanism is easy to use as well. I usually only fill it 1/2 way as when full it would be heavy to carry.

I like it. I’m happy with it enough that this was my 2nd purchase. It was very close to me not buying again however…Had for almost a year. Lid broke. Would cost 12.23 to get a new lid from this manufacturer, when it cost me was it $27 I think for a full new one…Lasts about 5 days for one 60lb dog. (To be fair sometimes I don’t fill it all the way and he also has another regular bowl on a different floor.)Needs special cleaning.Great size compared to the competition.Seems to hold up for a while.Does get hard water stains.Doesn’t look too badFirst purchased Jan 2023. It is now end of Dec 2023 and I needed a new setup because the lid (cap) broke. I believe it was 50/50 user error and poor design. I thought it was on righ; checked it 2-3x but it did seem different somehow…it came loose as I was setting it down and over a gallon spilled everywhere and then I saw the lid had cracked…And despite what people say, it is not easy to clean well. For this reason, plus me questioning its durability, I almost bought one of two other models instead I found online. My first choice I bought on amazon but then I cancelled because it was much smaller than this one AND I saw reviews saying it wasn’t durable…my second choice I almost bought and would have for one detail, filters are required… no thanks. So back to this one. I use filtered water so I don’t want another filter system to keep buying.I like how this one is 2.5 gallons or 9.5 Liters compared to the other largest sizes I found being barely 6 liters.I do not like how hard it is to clean. I would also prefer a metal bowl. But this one does the job nicely if you keep up on the cleaning. You have to carefully set it up so it doesn’t leak or drop out of your hands and carefully take apart to clean inside a hides reservoir that could hide mold. Yuck. It is a pain. A design flaw I think.See images. I show the new one and the old one being cleaned out with soap and vinegar-Basically it’s one of the largest ones you can get that seems decent.-I think you’ll like it fine as long as you take your time cleaning it and setting it up.

This is a great watering method for my two dogs and two cats. They did NOT like it at first but they have no problem with it now. The water successfully flows into the bowl, it’s easy to wash, and handy not having to change the water every single day. I do however, have a hard time with the size of the jug. It’s pretty heavy for me so I’d love to get another size jug if possible, or I might pass this on to my son and get myself a smaller version. I did drop it twice when trying to pick up the jug about 3/4 full. I fill it 1/2 now and it’s better. I don’t think I always get it “locked” into position., but it works.

I have two LARGE German shepherds. They haven't tried to eat it. It takes them 2.5 days to empty this. They still dribble everywhere. It still needs to have their slobber washed out each time. But only every other day. So result. Sort of, I do still have to use my magic mop after them. Beats filling their water bowl up 3 times a day. :)

Fantastic buy! I have a large dog and was filling up his water bowl constantly. This one is easy to fill, has a large mouth for him to drink from, holds enough water for him for over a week and is good, sturdy construction. It also arrived extremely fast in the post. If you are debating buying this, don't, just order it, you will not regret
