The Wind in the Willows - The Complete Second Series

Wonderful to pass the winter evenings with!

Grandkids love it. As do I and many adults.

The smoothness of the animation is a little staccato compared to Aardman studios, but it makes up for it with visual detail and the sweetness of its stories. It is a calm peaceful show that can take you away from the usual loud excitement and screaming that is found in many cartoons. Won't over stimulate your child if you want to watch something relaxing for a change. Lovely theme music too.

"Wind in the willows" is timeless. I watched the complete series on tv by bbc when i was already grown up but i suggest it to every family and kids. The discs were in good condition. The kids i bought them for were very satisfied. Dvd arrived on time and in good package.

I had the Disney channel when I lived in Tampa and started watching these with my kids. I found them absolutely charming and the best pressure relievers you can buy. They just make all the cares of the world go away for a short time. I have purchased all of the BBC productions and wonder when season's 3, 4, etc. will be out. Please speed them along.

I love these series. They have such beautiful art work and music and story lines and are clean and decent. Any child from 6 months to 90 years can watch them.

Great stories, good for the whole family. The animation is beautiful, the characters are believable, and the stories are both fun and meaningful. I love these shows and I'm no spring chicken.

I absolutely LOVE The Wind In The Willows!!! I think it is quite possibly my all-time favorite show! Even as an adult, I've sometimes found it to be the only thing that will help me relax and go to sleep. And it was not available to me as a kid. I only discovered this wonderful show about ten years ago.I wish Amazon would get make the rest of the series available for sale. There are still another three seasons (or Series, as the British call them) available. Series 3, 4, & 5.And for those of you who are The Wind in the Willows fans and still have not been able to get the last three seasons on this side of the big puddle, at least we can still watch them! There is a YouTube user who thoughtfully created a channel called The Wind in the Willows @ [...]SO, AMAZON, IF YOU WOULD EVER ACTUALLY GET THE LAST THREE SEASONS OF THE WIND IN THE WILLOWS IN, THERE ARE QUITE A NUMBER OF FOLKS WHO WOULD LOVE TO BUY THEM! (On DVD)

Even all this time I still enjoy watching Toad get himself into trouble and having Badger, Ratty and Mole get him out of it. Hopefully Amazon Canada will get the other seasons!

These DVDs are classics everyone should have in their library. Watching them is like going on a vacation. The episodes are charming, heartwarming, relaxing and so watchable you can watch them again and again without tiring of them. The animation is unmatched in its intense detail, and the narration of an apt, poetic prose. I cannot wait for the rest of the series to be released!
