Do this BEFORE filling up the soap dispenser
I only had one Minor issue is that the more I used the dispenser the less it was dispensing. Found out that it creates a suction based on the resistance of the filler cap When trying to remove. I recommend acquiring the smallest drill bit you have and drill a tiny hole up top to prevent this, Works perfect now.Simple to use, install the 3AAA batteries at the base, remove the cap, apply soap of your desire, press the Power button on top & test the disposable amount, press the + button to increase disposable amount. Dispenser will flash either 1 or 2 LED in front of sensor to indicate which dispenser setting amount.

Doesn't Work With Moisturizing Soap
I used this product for hand soap at the kitchen sink. Unfortunately, it is not the case that any and all soaps will work in this dispenser. I used Softsoap Aloe Vera with Moisturizers. It only worked a handful of times before it seemed to get clogged! I tried everything I could to adjust it and it still didn't work. I thought there were 3 settings of soap dispensing on this product and there may be...But, it could have have been masked by the fact that the thing got clogged up and couldn't recognize its settings after a while. It was very disappointing, as I did appreciate the small footprint as well as the aesthetic look of the item. I guess it's back to the drawing board for me now to find a dispenser that will properly output this soap. It's just a shame that the Lysol Automatic Refills were discontinued. Using other soaps without moisturizers in them prove harsh on my skin as much as I wash my hands in a kitchen while cooking. Also for what I received, I just felt it was the bit too pricey paying almost $30 for a Made in China plastic device. However, if it actually had worked for me, it may have been worth it. I wouldn't recommend it if you use moisturizing type liquid soaps.

Easy to adjust amount of soap dispensed
After using the Lysol hands-free for years I didn’t think I’d find another hands-free that I liked as much but this one is great! it’s nice that you can control amount of soap that you want dispensed

Caution.... there are better units
So I purchased this unit as it was about $15 cheaper than the other units I was looking at. Big mistake, because i wound up spending $50 on the other one a month later.Pros:Looks niceThat's about itCons:With the sensor towards the bottom of the unit, i basically had to have my dishwashing brushes all over the unit for the motion detector to sense something was there. This cause all sorts of stuff to be wiped on the unit. Then when you go to clean the unit, you get extra soap on your hands.I went with the unit that has the sensor pointing down right next to the dispenser and I've found that to work much better.Dont skimp, spend the extra $15

motion detection is very slow
i had a simple human motion soap dispenser for many years that finally died. I just didn't want to spend that much when I went to replace it and figured the other brands would probably be just as good. I am sorry to say I am disappointed in this one. you have to put your hand under it several times to get the motion to activate. I do not find that the soap is too thick because it comes out fine when you finally get it to work. I would not purchase this again.

Stopped Working after 10 mos
Worked great... for 10 mos. all new batteries totally dead. In garbage. Also a major battery sucker. Not wasting time or $ on cheap Chinese sellers products on Amazon EVER AGAIN

Activated by itself, now does not pump at all
This was great for a few days. It pumps out soap when you are not even near it. I came home to find most of the soap dripping down the drain. No clue why but it just spits out soap at random. I had to turn it off when not in use to save the soap. As of now, it does nothing. Power is good. If I press the buttons the lights flash as intended but now no soap comes out at all. The pump does not even make an attempt to run. This cost me $25 plus all the lost soap down the drain. Terribly frustrating and now a complete waste of my money.

so far so good
so far so good. had to switch out to new batteries fairly quickly. I read the reviews about leakage & getting water in the battery case. Ended up using electrical tape on the bottom around the seams of the battery case & have it in a sitting in a small tray too. love having the ease of not having to pump any more.
