The quality seems very good. I’m not sure about the durability or how easy it will be to clean yet as I’ve only had it a day or so. Problem is that the title and description both say this is 17” x 17” yet I received one that is 12” x 12”. I called Amazon who promptly send out a replacement and assured me it would be the quoted size this time. I had my doubts. Replacement came and it’s 12” x 12” again. I gave it 3 stars because the quality seems very good but I am not happy to have paid for a larger size that it seems I won’t be getting.

My 10 yr old Chihuahua has a fast food problem. She inhaled her food without chewing and we worry she will do herself harm eventually by taking in so much air.This one is a pretty genius idea. Much like a tag blanket this is almost like a wall hanging. It measures a little over a foot square.So far, she has spent over 5 minutes digging for 1/4 cup of food. In addition, it is quiet except for her snorting.

I bought the Snuffle mat for my pup who likes food puzzles and finding hidden food around the house. We bought this from a trainer recommendation to teach her to earn all her food, and tire her out especially during meal times. She foraged for a few minutes the first two times but then got smart and lifted the corner handle and flipped the mat to let all the food loose. I tried holding it down, but she then thought it was a tug toy, so I had to take it away from her. Feeding times became stressful and messy. I would say it is a nicely made product and good quality. I just think for my dog's energetic and busy personality, it didn't work out.

She gets so excited when she sees me carrying it out of the kitchen. She was a fast eater and this slows her down. I took off one star because there's a lot of lint that I had to remove even after washing. I suggest a really good shake outside before washing. Otherwise, it's AWESOME!

My puppy LOVES this mat! He gets super excited whenever he sees it. He sometimes doesn't like to eat his kibbles in his bowl, but he has so much fun finding and eating kibbles when I hide them into this mat. I heard nosework is also good for reducing separation anxiety in dogs, so I give him this mat whenever I need to leave more than two hours.
