A great machine to get the job done.
I was a bit apprehensive to purchase this since I know that good gym equipment can be costly. The fact that there weren't many reviews also worried me but I said, "just do it". I am very happy with this machine. At first it seemed a bit wobbly and I called the Amazon installer to come back. He tightened a few things and that wobble went away. It also was not as sturdy because I have tile flooring. If you have tile, wood, or laminate, I strongly suggest to place it on one of those inexpensive grey/black floor mats. Amazon sells they very cheap. The machine is very quiet, smooth, and sturdy. I use my Apple watch to track calories burned, etc so I really just use the machine. It's easy to use and in my opinion a great machine for what you are paying. I don't have $1,800 to spend on top of the line equipment so this was great for me. I use this machine while watching tv or listening to audio books on my phone. The resistance is so easy to adjust as well. Compared to other inexpensive machines that I've used in the past at hotels, this one is really good. It's small enough that I put it next to my bed. It was in the living room before but my small kids kept trying to use it and I was afraid they would get hurt. Keeping it in our bedroom was a good choice and not an eye sore in the living room when guests come over. Go for it. You will love this machine.

Initial Review
I have yet hardly used this. I will come back and update this review later. But for now I wanted to give initial impressions of receiving and putting this thing together. I will admit to being a little intimidated when I unpacked. Seemed to be a lot of parts! That being said, it is important to note that:1) It arrived with no damage2) All the parts were thereThe manual breaks it down into 10 steps. Not bad. It did take me a couple of hours but I wasn't racing and I had some interruptions. A few part numbers in the manual didn't match the nuts and bolts, but were easy to figure out.It feels pretty solid and I took it for a spin. The display is pretty basic but has the info there. The heart beat monitor actually matched my smart watch. I don't know if I missed it when I was initially looking, but speed and distance is all in kilometers and there is no way to change it. Not a deal breaker for me. I'm on for time and how hard I can crank it.Things I know I like about it are:It uses no wall power. It has a couple of AA batteries for the display and that's it. That means I can put it anywhere. It's quiet. No problem watching TV while I work.It has wheels on one end. However, it could still be tough for smaller people to lug around.I'm 6'2" and 220 and it "fits" me just fine. I'll come back around after I've used it for a month or so.

Lightweight but a good machine
Time to update the review. I originally was very unhappy with this elliptical. While the shipping was quick and the assembly was easy it was not impressive, it was very noisy and the cover around the flywheel broke open after just a few uses.Well Snode reached out and wanted to know what was the issues. They listened to my concerns and stepped up and made it right. They replaced the whole machine no questions asked. They were very adamant about fixing this issue and their communication was excellent, only a short wait for a reply whenever i contacted them. So now after putting this one together Iβm happy with it. The case around the wheel seems to fit better on this one and the noise More in line with what an elliptical should sound like ( no loud squeaking front the footrests/lower arms )It is a lightweight treadmill so if youβre used to the big gym ones it will take some getting used to. Make sure itβs leveled completely with the rear foot adjustments. (And I did put some weights on the front legs to make it a little more stable) bit now I have a good machine to use at home for a moderate workout after breaking a foot and unable to run.Props to Snode for making a unhappy customer a happy one.

Squeaks and shakes
Item squeaks and shakes. It was easy to assemble. Instructions mention a bike and not elliptical which is just odd.Update 10/30: ended up getting rid of the elliptical a few months ago. Seller sent me an exercise bike in hopes that this would help with this review. Unfortunately, the elliptical is still not a good elliptical, so I cannot guide Amazon buyers to buy this because the seller thinks a bike will make up for a bad piece of equipment.

digital display not work, machine creeps backward, some creaking sound... otherwise I like it
no matter which of the 3 buttons (set, mode, reset) I push or for how long, nothing changes. simply can't reset everything back to zero and can't stop the Scan mode to just show elapsed time. tiny instruction sheet says to press up or down buttons to change time, etc. but the machine has no up/down buttons.I've been reading an ebook on my phone so I don't see the display and just note the start time on my watch.machine crept slowly backward as I worked out whether on laminate or cardboard, so I put the back end against a wall with cardboard at each "leg" to avoid marking/damaging the wall trim.I bought a nonskid floor mat that is intended to go under a slippery rug. The machine didn't noticeably move backward. I'll keep experimenting with the mat such as try putting it only under the front bar with the wheels. If I find it doesn't move with the mat under 1 or both bottom bars, I'll cut the mat to fit those areas so it's easy to clean dust (and sweat?) underneath. After it kept creaking, I loosened bolts in the front bottom piece.... less creaking, sometimes no sound... I'll keep adjust those 2 bolts as loosen the center piece a bit next. I have sent Snope a request for how to set/reset everything or consider my digital display malfunctioning and send another. I haven't heard back from Snopes so I've dropped my rating from 4 to 3 stars
