Replacement Joystick Controller for the Atari 2600 Console System

They seem to work well. Not sure if they will hold up...only time will tell.

seemed more fun to play on this old style controller than when on ps atari compilation..the joystick was fun too for a change/retro feel/dif challenge to it

Very fragile. The internal plastic ring that allows movement broke after a week of moderate use. That same ring used to break on the original joysticks. They need to make it out of something stronger. What's adamantium going for these days?

Works perfectly....then it breaks. I should have listened to other reviews. Less than two hours of game play and the joystick gave out. I am not a happy customer.

I ordered 2 of these replacement joysticks because my originals, after 20 years of playing, had stopped working correctly. I was understandably excited to receive the 2 joysticks that I ordered and proceeded to test 1 of them out playing Demon Attack on the 2600. After about 5 minutes, I heard a snap and then a rattle and then I could no longer go up. This is absolutely unacceptable and ridiculous.

I have been playing on Atari 2600 for 45 years along with pack man, I have bought two replacement joy sticks or controllers and within a week they both stopped working, doing the same thing, loss in the agility to move from side to side. I would love to find one i had along time ago, much like a joystick that was a lot alike a replacement controller on a pack men game. This controller was a big disappointment and i wont just buy another one to not work.
