HWL901 1:700 Scale German Submarines U-Boats 7C and 9C Model Kit

For an "under $10 " little kit, this is awesome. From 1942 through 1945, German U boats sunk several hundred US ships along the US Atlantic coast. I use mine to depict SS Gulfamerica torpedoed by U-123 right off Jacksonville Beach FL, 1942.

Great model. One question though, what kind of transport ship is that?

Great little model, two subs and two halves of a ship will make a great little diorama. Just remember it's 1/700 scale, very small and not a lot of parts but still a fun build.

Older model than i thought it to be; had to make some modifications for it to look cleaner and more uniform.

The details are very fine but you'll want to cut off the solid molded railings and use some photoetched for a really classy model(s). The fine vents and deck are well worth the extra work and this is an excellent price.
