Helped my pet to recover.
My Dog had an operation to remove a lump on her shoulder, she's an anxious dog and the usual buster collar stressed her out so much, she wouldn't eat or drink and was continually panting, she is still healing after 6 weeks so this collar has been a god send, she immediately relaxed, she loves to sleep with it and she can eat and drink, no problem. It stopped her from licking her wound, although some people have said their dog could still get at there back end, I'm not sure my dog would have tried.It was easy to inflate, although I used an electric pump and it is easy to remove for cleaning. I would highly recommend.

Effectiveness depends on wound location
Doesn't stop our dog from licking front/rear paws nor hindquarters, so the effectiveness depends on where the wound is. Hence it is OK to use when you are with the dog, but its back to the cone at other times. Note the inflation port is the self sealing type so you have to squeeze or bite the port before you can blow air in.

Happy dog
Great item instead of the horrendous plastic cones the vet gives you. My terrier is a 14” neck so the medium , not totally inflated did the job. The large was far too big. He rests his head on it to sleep. Happy dog!

Good but not totally effective
I was a little doubtful that our Husky would keep this on, but surprisingly she soon gave up trying to get it off after a few distraction techniques. However the real reason we bought it was to prevent her licking a surgical wound on her hind leg, as the standard cone is a pain, always getting caught in doorways etc. It was soon clear that she can easily reach her wound with this product in place, so for us a complete waste of money. I think it's a bit pointless unless your dog has a wound at the front half of their body, or they have a short neck with limited movement. For our dog, it's back to the cone!

The collar was just what i required
i like the collar but it was very hard to inflate, had to get my husband to do it with his big pump.

It was very good,very useful in aiding my dogs recovery able to keep her wounds clean & very comfortable for her to wear

Great improvement on Buster collar
Looked comfortable and easy to put on but despite being the right size I wasn’t sure if he still couldn’t get to his tail
