CHINESE COMPANIES NEED TO HIRE ACTUAL NATIVE (ENGLISH AND SPANISH) SPEAKERS TO WRITE INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE PRODUCTS SOLD IN THE US. I think I returned this item because it was unusable to a novice like me.

It showed up with virtually no instructions and dead batteries installed. I replaced the batteries, then it still didn't work. It wasn't worth the work to arrange a return, so I cut my losses and round-filed it. All of my other electrical equipment is from Fluke, Sperry, and Klein. I shouldn't have ventured outside of that circle of trust, and won't again.

Haven't used it much, but so far it's good.

No instructions. Could not figure out how to use, may have been defective, always had 123 on screen, light blinking????? Returned.

This item did not work in any way it was advertised.Hi could not differentiate the voltages I exposed it to and in majority of the cases it could not even sense the voltage in the power lines it was pressed against.sadly this got tossed in the bin, money wasted.

Think I'm being generous with a 2. It's cheap & I got what I paid for. I have not seen any indications in the window that show in the example pictures - all I've ever seen is a blue light to show there's current - & it's pretty dim at best. VERY limited instructions so I'm probably not operating it right, but ...It even seems to have trouble seeing current in legs of both 220v & 110v circuits, even though I know both are energized & both 12v DC & 24v DC are strictly a guess whether I see a light. Heavy insulation jackets seem to defeat it totally. Good news is that I can make the blue light come on by touching it to my finger, but I hadn't really bought this for party tricks. Too bad I missed the return window, I would have skipped the review & returned it.
