Review Praise for I Say, You Say:"These colorful, playful books encourage interactive learning through prediction and repetition; but most importantly, they look really fun."―--Dr. Robert Needlman, co-founder of Reach Out and Read and author of Dr. Spock's Baby BasicsPraise for I Say, You Say Animal Sounds:"A playful lift-the-flap read-aloud...Quirky moments, such as calves dancing to a boombox and a frog doing the backstroke, add to the fun of the inevitable repeat readings....With bold, active art and a noise-inducing, interactive text, this offering, part of the I Say, You Say series, will work for both group and one-on-one read-alouds."―Kirkus Reviews"Little ones will enjoy the repetition and interactivity of these offerings, celebrating as they correctly guess the words hiding under the flaps. Carpenter's predicable, interactive titles in the I Say, You Say series offer appealing introductions to basic concepts just right for toddlers and preschoolers"―Kirkus Reviews Read more About the Author Tad Carpenter is an illustrator and designer living in sunny, snowy and forever changing Kansas City, Missouri. on the whole, a stellar book choice for ages 1 to 4
Tad Carpenter's I say, You say books are awesome for toddlers to learn concepts from colors to feelings and beyond. The illustrations are clear and attractive, and humorous as well. My only quibble is that the publisher, in an attempt to make it more "interesting," has made it so that the tabs fold out in different directions each time. As someone who reads books out loud to kids quite often, this is a liability, as it would make it much easier and smoother to read aloud if the fold-outs folded out in the same direction each time! But on the whole, a stellar book choice for ages 1 to 4.

Amazing book. We love this entire line of books
Amazing book. We love this entire line of books. My son loves flipping the pages. The pages are a bit heavier card stock, so its less likely to rip -- although we have ripped some pages!

Excellent!
Great book to read! I love illustration on the book. They are fun to look at and fun to read. I bought other 'I say, you say' series, since my almost two years old daughter love this book.

Cute but hard to flip
This book is pretty fun, but the flaps are as big as the whole page so my 1 year old has a hard time. It's not our "go to" favorite, but cute nonetheless.
