Baxters Sliced Beetroot Pickled in Malt Vinegar

I bought this product because I enjoy some pickled beetroot with salads and ham sandwiches. I'm kind of embarrassed to admit that they didn't even make it to a sandwich or salad bowl as I ate the contents with a fork over 2-3 days.It has that strong pickle flavour that some lack and was exactly what I was looking for. Now, just got to find a decent pickled onion!

I do like a pickled beetroot.Wonderfully acidic and with the earthy taste that beetroot has.These are just, cooked and sliced beetroot pickled in malt vinegar.There is a little sugar (4.4%) and salt (0.62%) added, and some saccharin too, but that's basically all.Perfect in any kind of salad, or with cold meat and mashed potatoes.I also use the vinegar as a base for a salad dressing. You can use it on your fish and chips as well. As long as you don't mind pink chips.Malt vinegar has many healthy benefits, so any pickled food you eat is always a bonus.Overall, assuming you like beetroot, this is a very tasty quality product, which improves any salad.I hope you found this review helpful.

bought these beetroot twice now and there really nice my mum loves them to, I've grown up adding beetroot to tea there very versatile.

Loved it. Especially now we are too old to grow our own. Excellent buy.
