holds fast with just an iron
I was going to get somebody to sew these on for me but I just ironed them on myself and they are holding my patches fine. I do not change out the patches very often so it may not hold up as well if you are changing out patches frequently. I used the patch to cover a logo on a jacket from a former employer.

Worked great. I bought them for my boiler suit and they sewed on real well. Should be able to hold any of my patches securely.

Half melted while applying
No instructions, so I recommend applying your patch first, then ironing on this patch. There were no instructions, so I melted half of the patch trying to apply it...

Great for the odd sized patch or flags etc
Great size and exactly what I needed. Perfect for the slightly oversized patch. You can just cut these down to size.

Does the job, but look out for..........
It does the job, in the sense that that my applique patches adhered to the 'shiny side' backing of these velcro sheets pretty firmly after 30 - 40 sec of 'cotton' heat on my iron. I was then able to attach the patch to my secondhand Army Combat Uniform shirt's 'velcro patch pad' without any trouble. The downside: beware, if you use a pressing cloth atop your patch to keep it from being scorched while applying the iron, the pressing cloth will also stick to the shiny side of the velcro sheet........ and leave a visible residue. Depending on the patch, this can be cut away....but if it can't, be prepared to color over the stuck fabric with a black Sharpie marker.
